Make a "sin bin" in your cas dungeon complete with bars and a skeleton chained to the wall in the corner by the stairs
as far as the KO part right now it is an empty room
maybe put piles of straw on the floor?
I am not sure about this oneskars - Jul 17, 2008 - 10:31 PM Post subject: RE: my first dugout [work in progress]
That looks great! Nice Work. I would recommend using indoor/outdoor house paint for the first layer to ensure durability for the foam and the plaster. While the paint is still wet you can put on your first layer of sand (for the sections of blue board left bare )and the urethane paint will hold it in place when it dries. A little flocking and some paint and you will be in business! It looks like you used 4 different Hirst Arts moulds?Sukram - Jul 20, 2008 - 03:00 PM Post subject: RE: my first dugout [work in progress]
next stage is to create a steeple and a roof for a church-look!
tower and roof get removable!

Perhaps turn the "steeple" into a dice tower? Punkpogoer - Jul 22, 2008 - 05:48 PM Post subject:
That looks very cool Sukram.arturin - Jul 22, 2008 - 11:50 PM Post subject:
How do you plan to decorate the space between tiles? It looks wide in the picture.Sukram - Jul 23, 2008 - 03:06 AM Post subject:
@arturin which tiles?
the 3 rows in the front?
they are 2 turn and 1 re-roll row!

OK, I knew there was something strange in that playing field
I guess it's too obvious I'm a newbie Sukram - Jul 25, 2008 - 01:45 PM Post subject:
no problem!

Looking great!
I would advise you to stay away from the sand and go with flock instad, as the sand tends to keep falling no matter how much ink or glue you use (and then theres that nasty sound of sand scratching the table/pitch surface or even worst, chipping off the ink of the minis...)
Keep us posted!
Cheers

WELL DONE!!! This gives me some juicy ideas for my own for my Chaos All-Stars Palace of Eternal Suffering dugouts. I've got just one question though. Did you custom make the pieces, or go through a different range to gather your materials? If you did, what was the company's name? Those resin bricks look terriffic!

I am also wondering what materials you used and just how heavy this thing is. I am thinking of starting my own stadium soon but am most concerned about the weight.Axtklinge - Oct 25, 2008 - 06:33 AM Post subject:
That seems to be made from those "house insulation boards", and if so its very light!AK_Dave - Oct 25, 2008 - 07:40 AM Post subject:
Looks like blueboard insulation for the base (everything blue), with plaster casts done from Hirst Arts molds for all the stone and brickwork (everything yellow), and unknown either plasticard or cardstock (probably plastic) for the roofs. Thats my guess, Axtlinge.Axtklinge - Oct 27, 2008 - 04:12 AM Post subject:
Yep, must be something like that.
Still very light weight.
