I have been lurking for a bit with a mind to rejoining the community of BB afterr a very long absence.
I have downloaded the rulebook, ordered the block dice decided to play a skaven and a lizardmen team.
But now I am stuck. As I have to buy a full boxset to get hold of the board and templates.
I have read a few discussions regarding the 3/4cm square debate, and I think I will be going for the 4 cm version on my home made board.
But what ratio's are the templates to the original board?
I have access to a laser-cutter so I can make my own as long as I can get the relative dimensions.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, and after some wading through internet, this is what I found:
The ruler is 2" x 14". Range bands are at 5", 9", and 13". The "hole" for the throwers head is .5" in from the start (making the first band 4.5"). The square size of the original board is 1 1/8" in.
I'm also building a 4cm square board, so I just multiplied everything in inches by 3.56 (4/1.125) to get the final dimension in centimeters.
The answer may come a bit late though... |

If you found another way it would be very useful for me.
I face now the challenge of building a 50-centimeter-long ruler, and I cannot find any material suitable. In this link:
http://www.drunkdwarves.com/?p=29
there is a great explanation of how to build a custom board, but he bought the ruler from:
http://www.litkoaero.com/.
Any idea? |
