Well, the teams have been cast, shipped and received, the DJ hired....
the custom pitches made and loaded....
rooms have been confirmed and meetings scheduled.....
name badges have been ordered, last minute orders for coffee service put in place....
So here we are, nine days away from starting the first matches of the first ever World Cup and let me say how much I've enjoyed the process - all of you who have helped and worked so hard deserve the membership's heartiest thanks!
So some housekeeping notes:
1) particularly the UK coaches: please bring any templates, dice, and such extras with you - we will need to use some along with the WC boards at the White Hart;
2) everyone should bring AT LEAST two copies of their teams - one for the staff and one for you to share with your opponent before each match;
3) for the PAINTING COMPETITION: please let the staff know upon registration that you have an entry for the competition - at that time, you will be given a registration form to complete, then take your entry or entries to a separate location for display;
4) I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE as many coaches as possible - especially those coming in on Thursday night - to stop by the White Hart between 4pm and 10PM and pre-register. This will relieve much of the Friday morning and Saturday morning pressure on the registration effort and will be a lot more fun... Tritex Games will have a booth, there will be the official WC shirt and patches on sale, and you can have a beer and meet old and new friends.
5) Please remember to pack (and use):
your best smile
a couple of pounds of patience
your Sunday suit of sportsmanship
AND YOUR A-GAME BABY! This is the World Cup and we expect the best.... of everything and everyone!
NINE days and counting.... are you ready!

In google maps I've found 3 white harts. I suppose the correct one is:
29 Gregory St, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG7 2LT, UK
am I correct? |

Yes you are, although the address looks slightly wrong to me. When I look it up (on Google, Multimap or the RAC site) it is shown to be a little way up Gregory Street, but I'm sure the pub is actually on the corner made by the beginning of Gregory street and Abbey Bridge (Lenton Lane and Abbey Street being the other two roads meeting at the cross roads junction). |

Well, with almost 300 Blood Bowlers I think it will be enough if I find one of the surrounding streets |

It's the pub just 5 min walk from the venue-right? |

On the friday morning, where take place the registration? At the warhammer word, or at the White Hart (or depending the table)? And at what time have we to arrive for registration? |
