If you fail a Bloodlust and fall down for any reason (dodge, GFI, etc...) does the Vamp still run off the field? If so what if the Vamp is stunned?
-As Commish, I have ruled that if the Vamp falls down, then it does not run off the field.

I would guess that yes, they leave the pitch. They cannot bite if they are on the floor. |

Once he fails the action, do the standard procedure of placing the player prone and roll for armor and injury as normal, if applicable. After that, if he is prone or stunned on the pitch, place him in the reserves as he obviously failed his bite for Blood lust.
So in theory, he could end up with a more serious injury from trying to get to a Thrall for blood lust. I know on many occasions where I just removed him from the field instead of trying to get him to a Thrall, in fear of him hurting himself more. |

Dwarfrunner is correct - they always leave the field if they failed to bite. |

A somewhat similar question I haven't found an answer for:
Is a blood lusting vampire that fails the pickup roll allowed to bite an adjacent thrall (e.g. without having to move another square)?
I guess you could argue that the failed pickup causes an immediate turnover that does not allow the vampire to correctly end his move action. |

Yes if you are still standing and also next to a thrall you can attempt to bite them |

If I understood that correctly, than it is still possible to bite an adajcent thrall despite the immediate turnover? |

I'm sorry for this, but just an English question.
Why do you use "them" instead of "him"? I never got it... |

Granted that on the failed pick-up the vamp will have to make his OFAB, but does the bounce happen before or after the OFAB. This could in theory be an issue if the vamp fails the pick-up next to two thralls. Does the vamp coach get to see where the ball bounces before he chooses which thrall to bite? |

do you really still have this sort of thing? don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it is incorrect, but I'm translating a manual for a game from italian to English and I guess it will be more confusing using "them" than "him"...! we have the same issue here in Italy, but we use the "male form" everywere and that's it |

Lots of english rule books make all references male as a standard. I think as long as you keep it consistent its all good. Mix it up and use female references. |

In that cause I would just use him, it is fairly standard practice to do that.

Regarding the ball scattering and bloodlust, you would scatter the ball first as that happens instantly from the failed pick up, then roll for the bloodlust injury on the thrall of your choice. |
