Hi guys

Just wondering what you<re using to unglue parts from your figs. I'm in the process of converting some chaos beastmen and warriors but would like to take off the arms. I think that crazy glue was used and the figs are all plastic.

Thanks for the help!

Actually I've recently converted some beastmen and warriors myself that I salvaged from a FLGS bitz box and some were in fact super glued together. For the most part the ones with superglue popped loose with a little twisting. I was careful minding the plastic. When that wasn't enough, a hobby knife inserted into the joint would seperate them. Super glue is not that great, especially with smooth plastic.

I think there are super-glue solvents. The thing is make sure it won't burn down your figures like industrial grade super acid wash boil of death. "Works every time."

Perhaps it will suprise you, but putting them in the freezer for a full night will weaken the glue enough to do it easier.

After that, pressure with hands, help with knife or small child with a rock Smile

if they;re plastic it would probablt be stuck with polystyrene cement which melts the plastic together .......... good luck on that one
