You have to do both rolls immediately (for apothecary and regen), though perhaps you have a case the rules aren't clear.
It does have an impact on the match when you do them as well. If you waited until the end of the drive your opponent doesn't know which players are coming back and which are sustaining their injuries. Depending on the player in question this may dictate how quickly they decide to score, if your best players were out for the rest of the match for example, they may score earlier knowing your team is going to be weaker the next drive...
note that your KO rolls are done at the end of the drive, it is only if you are going to use an apothecary to turn it into a stun you have to use it right away |

Not that I know of any way. So I guess it is another case of bad wording. |

there are (or were) other things in the game that could injure your players that aren't on the field, it may just be wording hangover from that or the special play cards may still be able to affect players in your dugout (I'm not a fan of the cards so don't know without going and reading them all)
I think at some point throw a rock might have been able to hit any of your players not just those on the pitch as well |

| Grumbledook I am sorry to have to ask this but can you tell me where you get your info on it having to be rolled Immediately after the casualty is rolled. Quite a few in the league I am in say that is not true. I personally am so confused I do not even want to play another game. Thank you for the help. |
