Converting - greenstuff removable

Post subject: greenstuff removable
I am currently working on a conversion, but am a bit worried that my inexperience with green stuff might let me down, so is there any way of removing green stuff from certain areas or do you have to get rid of the whole lot and if so how?

My second question is can you strip paint from a model with greenstuff parts or extentions?

Thank you

Ben

Don't know about getting rid of greenstuff... Once it's dry you can cut it with a knife very easily, though.

About stripping minis with greenstuff: I don't know if you can do that, but you might try dropping a bit of leftover, dried and hard greenstuff in the paint remover you're planning to use and see what happens to it...

I've stripped the paint off greenstuffed things before and although there wasn't a huge amount on there it dropped off pretty easily. There isn't much Nitromors can't do Wink

Thinner works okay as well... The green stuff will not dissolve if you don't expose it for more than a few minutes.
To remove greenstuff from a model, just break it off - I use a pointy file for that. Stuff is not as adhesive as superglue when it's dried.
