Can anyone explain to me how to uplink pictures to the forum, do I need to use another site as a base, and if so, can anyone suggest a good one?

as far as i know, they need to be on a webspace already.

brinkster is a good one that is free, or you could try geocities or angelfire although i've never used those last two before. all are free sites though but you have ads popping up on them.

from experience, geocities does not work well. Not sure about angelfire.

What am i doing wrong Crying or Very sad

Ive signed up to the brinkster site on the 'free' web choice. Ive uploaded a pic from my PC. I go into properties after left clicking on the pic and copy the address-URL (http://.......). I then use this address in the post in the 'Img' option.

What am i doing wrong? Crying or Very sad

Also, what size pics should i use in post on here and TBB? (800x600?)

You copied the wrong URL, the link is not pointing to the image, but to:
http://www.brinkster.com/FileManagerViewFile.asp

should be something like: http://yourname.brinkster.com/blabla.jpg

Right click on the picture and hit Properties. Should give you the exact link you need.

Certain sites just don't allow you to link to them directly (i.e. Yahoo)

Funny... I opened up an account just to see if I could do what you were doing (I tested the TKC logo)

Seems to work fine with the URL of:

http://www25.brinkster.com/ommonkey/NAForksmall2.jpg

between the IMG markers...
