Rules Questions - Blitz question

Post subject: Blitz question
Ok here goes (yet another stooooopid question from me). Ok I know you are not allowed to Blitz & Pass with the same player in the same turn. Can you however Blitz then if your still standing later attempt to pick up the ball during your move?
I'm pretty sure you can cause picking up the ball is not considered an action. So basically I'm asking can you at anytime during your move pick up the ball (before or after you perform a Blitz action)?

Yes, you can pick up the ball, but note that you can't make a hand-off!

Yeah, I've gotten bitten by that one, where the blitzer knocks over the ballcarrier and ends up with the ball. I shouldn't complain, but I did have a better plan that involved my passer getting the ball. At least my oppo doesn't have it.
Note: you can't even reroll that, if the blitzer gets it, because you can only reroll failures.

You can if you have Pro. However, I know you can only re-roll failures with Skill-based RR's, but from a literal reading of the RR rules on p.15 of the LRB, it seems to imply that any dice roll can be re-rolled.

heh, you're right. I could have sworn it was the other way 'round. I guess I just misread the LRB.
