Painting - As promised, my Lizardmen team now painted. Go easy on me ;) fuzzy_spiral - Mar 06, 2004 - 09:22 AM Post subject: As promised, my Lizardmen team now painted. Go easy on me ;)
This is my team the XlanHuapec Salamanders (according to new Lizardmen book the pronounce would be Shlan-woo-pec ) Just a few pics to show you what my painting standard is. Team colour is black with flame effect.
The Team
Captain plus skinks
Veteran Kroxigor - Ghrul'gorganix
The only Star Player in my team so far- Lisph Pom
Painting the Salamanders has got me back into painting big style, so I am currentely finishing off my Brackenhiem Bunnies Team and my Darkside Sirens.Tojurub - Mar 07, 2004 - 09:30 AM Post subject:

Great stuff!
How are you handling player numbers on the Skinks? I've got my team ready for basecoating, but I don't quite know how I'm going to handle numbering my players

They're down for me now as well, but they were up yesterday.fuzzy_spiral - Mar 08, 2004 - 11:37 AM Post subject:
Numbers for the skinks are on their shoulder pads... plain ones.
As to the images my Angelfire site has been closed for some reason, so I need to find a new site to host my pics.. any ideas?fuzzy_spiral - Mar 08, 2004 - 02:57 PM Post subject:
Got it sorted, big thanks to Kernspalt.
Hope everyone can see them again. Deathwing - Mar 08, 2004 - 04:26 PM Post subject:
Love the multi-coloured approach, in fact I went the same route. And they don't need numbers to identify them when they're all different colours! Ancalagon - Mar 09, 2004 - 03:26 AM Post subject:
Good job. I painted mine on a "venomous scheme" (green/red-orange bright scales). I thought using same flame scheme on a wood elf team, but finally my hate for those girlies changed my mind.KLK - Mar 09, 2004 - 06:17 AM Post subject:

Is the captain the Saurus Star Player?fuzzy_spiral - Mar 09, 2004 - 11:20 AM Post subject:
Well the figure is, but he's my own player.
I'm working on a coach and apothecary next, but will probably be a little while before they are done as I'm now working on my new Dark Elf team, the Darkfire Panthers.Tackledummy - Mar 09, 2004 - 10:11 PM Post subject:
