Post subject: Push-back rule
I just finished reading the LRB 3.0 and I was surprised to see how pushbacks work now.

Assume a strength 3 norse blitzer with frenzy, with an assist from a nearby lineman (total of strength 4) gets to throw a block at a strength 3 human lineman and rolls a Pow The squares in which the lineman can be pushed back to are occupied by two strength 3 players and one ogre. Tha blocker decides to push the lineman to the square occupied by the ogre. Does the ogre also suffer the Pow straight away? Does the norse blitzer have to roll the block dice against the ogre?

Suppose the norse blitzer rolls a Pushback twice, and both times the ogre gets pushed. If the norse blitzer had strip ball, and the ogre was the ball carrier, would the ogre drop the ball after being pushed back by a pushed back lineman who was blitzed by a strip ball player?

If a Team A player blocks/blitzes a Team B player and pushes him back, and the three squares to which he can be pushed back are occupied by Team A players isn't there a chance of self-inflicted damage via that chain of push-backs?

On a final note: what's the reason for not allowing amazons to have big guys? In our league we would like to include a unicorn (the model is cool). Does anyone know where we could find the stats for (fairly balanced) unicorns? I hear there was a unicorn star player and then unicorn big guys.

thanks a lot!

This secondary push back is treated exactly like a normal push back as if the second player had been blocked by the first. The coach of the moving team decides all push back directions for secondary push backs unless the pushed player has a skill that overrides this.

Secondary or greater pushbacks are ALWAYS treated as Push arrow results. So they won't cause a player to drop a ball ever and they'll never knock a player down (maybe off the pitch but not down).
