Hey, I'm definately going to this!

Can we get this made a sticky?

I hope some of the coaches out there living in western Canada/US will consider coming to this one as there are few (if any) NAF tournies in west NA. Calgary's a great city to visit, so come on and register.

Just got back from the tourney and it was great fun! Congrads to Toppy for organising and running it (along with the other volunteers from his league), great job. Though it was a small tourney, 14 participants, it still was enjoyable and I'm sure all will be back next year, so hopefully there will be more NAF members coming as well. The only NAF members that I know who were there other than me, DesTroy, Balbaroy, and Rustycan. A guy name Chris was the winner (played Dwarves), I played CDs (same teams that I played at the BB) and was one of the finalists in the best painted award Shocked (hard to believe, I know, just shows that there wasn't any real high calibar paint jobs there, but the guy who won with a Nurgle Rotter team definately deserved it).
Hopefully we will get more NAF support next year (as this, so far, is the only BB tourney in western Canada).

Good stuff, Torg - thanks for posting the pics!

As far as tourney support goes, I'm sure we can do better for next year... the way I look at the past two weekends is that more than 120 coaches in five different countries were playing BB in sanctioned tournaments. The size of the event doesn't matter nearly as much as the quality of the tournament and whether everyone enjoyed the time they spent... from all reports, it appears they did!
