Ahem. I think this is a tricky one.
Well, as we all know, Team rating is figured out by Quote:
working out the total value of the team in gold pieces. For every 10,000 gold pieces that the team is worth, it receives 1 Team Rating point
. Then we sum the SPP's and so on.
The point is, if in the Pre-Match Sequence phase 1 (Hire Freebooters, Wizards & Star Players) I hire a Freebooter or an Star Player, which is the value of that player? The nominal value? or the cost (which is half the nominal value)?
If it's the first, it could be a curious way to increase one's TR (Damned if I know which use it could be).

The team's TR is worked out in the post-game sequence, so hiring freebooters/stars/wizards in the pre-game has no effect on the TR value.
