Rules Questions - Throw Team-Mate, Pass Block and Foul Appearance Banelord - Jul 12, 2004 - 05:07 AM Post subject: Throw Team-Mate, Pass Block and Foul Appearance
Pass Block can by used to move three squares to move into a position to attempt an interception or to put a tackle zone on the thrower or catcher.
Throw Team-Mate can not be intercepted.
My question: Player A has Pass Block and Foul Appearance, Player B is a troll. O are empty squares. The situation:
AOOOOB
Can Pass Block be used? There is no chance putting a tackle zone on B.CoffinDodger - Jul 12, 2004 - 09:43 AM Post subject:
I'd say not. As you can't intercept a TTM, I'd rule that the 'move to intercept' part of Pass Block becomes irrelevant.
Thinking about it from the point of view of the player on the pitch- would you want to try and get in the way of a goblin being hurled at great speed anyway!

Pass Block's descriptions says it can be used "when the opposing coach announces that one of his players is going to pass the ball."slup - Jul 12, 2004 - 12:46 PM Post subject:
You cannot pass block a TTM, only ballpassing.
It is not enough to put a -1 modifier from foul app. on either the thrower or the catcher, you have to put a tacklezone on them or be eligable to intercept for pass block to work.Banelord - Jul 13, 2004 - 01:47 AM Post subject:
