Adding a little more info. The Table Top Games website is under re-construction so the sight link may not work. Also this is a Rogue Trader Tournament too.

I don't see this tourney listed on the NAF tourneys list. Have you gotten this sanctioned as an official NAF tourney yet?

I came in dead last. Laughing How's that sound? Well, they are a joke team. I figured my early success would be short lived.

I had no bed karma built up. I was trying some new stuff. A lot of 2 die roll turns made it easy to end that low.

Halflings finished strong and suprisingly came in 1st. The first round they stomped the chaos dwarves into submission.

2nd it two tourney's not bad. As far as I'm concerned. Still working on a first place.

Don't count Ogeee out till the last match. We're back and running strong.

Way to go FEMIKE. you will be thinking O-Gee not again when we match up. NW Eagles (Humans) Rock.

Don't count me out yet. I still have to defend my title at Iron Mike's. Mine and the founder's are the only names on the trophy.

Yeah Rod, I second that request! I would be willing to let you crash at my house for next years Iron Mike (or any other local tourney), and we will hopefully have the same quality prize!
Odds are you'll have to bust out a tourney win sooner or later Very Happy

Halflings won? What was his lineup?
fe2mike - Dec 07, 2004 - 02:11 PM
Post subject:
Halfling 30k x 8 = 240
Treeman 110k x 2 = 220
Deeproot 250k x 1 = 250
Chef's ingredients 60k x 3 = 180
Apothecary 50k x 1 = 50
Fan Factor 10k x 6 = 60
TOTAL 1000k

Essentially the same Roster I went 3 wins one loss at GENCON with as well. It is actually a pretty mean roster. Orc
I must admit that my rolls were very hot, almost all (close to 75%) of my d6 rolls were 4+ !

Post subject: Snots
You still seem to be avoiding me. In two NAF match ups.

Whats up with the snots? I understand you might be giving up on the Ogre team and playing something else?

When is Portland going to host a game where the NW Eagles can fly to prove themselves.

I have really Looking forward to a match up.

If nothing else if I get to Portland we may need to have a Grudge match. If we can work it in.

What do you think. A Home coming game for the NW Eagles. After all before I lived in Spokane I lived in Beavertown USA.

ingredients cost is too low for tourney's. it's a no brainer to take ingredients over regular rr's.

do you got a final breakdown of races/records?

Yeah for next years tourneys I beleive the cost will be increased, maybe 80k?

Shadewe will have to get that for you Smile

I went to 2 110k tourneys this year (BUBBLE and BraasBowl) where RR cost was 60k. That turned out to be the right amount. I guess it depends on the final tournament set up what the right amount is. Allowing stars gives flings a huge boost, with up to 3 trees on the LOS.

The 8 flings and 3 trees configuration should lead to a very rapid demise of the flings though. The Flings' opponents must have been really unlucky with injury rolls and trees must have shown up a lot. If it wasn't luck, it's been a very well played tourney for the Flings.

Well, with the new Rules the trees show up every single game, it's On-Pitch-Take-Root. And Deeproot doesn't have that negatrait.

OK, didn't realise that the RR might have been in effect at this tourney. But still, 60k should be expensive enough and 8 flings should be too little.

Thank You, as I would like to beleive that regardless of my luck in the 3 tourneys I have used this format of Halfling team, that I still coach them very soundly. (been playing them for 6 years)
I've used this team at 3 tounaments with an overall record of
7-4-1 win-loss-tie
but at 2 of those tourneys I was 3-1-0
