The Alberta Blood Bowl Association (AbBBA) is excited and pleased to present the 2005 Apocalypse Challenge on July 2 and 3 in Calgary.

Last year was a great success and this year we have even more for prizes, players and challenges.

We hope to see you all there.

Alberta Blood Bowl Association is proud to report that the 2nd Annual Alberta Apocalypse Challenge has been approved by NAF.

We hope that all those that attended last year will be in attendance as we have more people coming from other areas around such as Kelowna B.C. that have confirmed with us. We have more trophies and a take home item for all participants and we took all last years recommendations to heart to provide the best Blood Bowl Tournament we can.

The Apocalypse Challenge is a 7 game Swiss style tournament held on July 2nd & 3rd in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

The rules, registration forms, and promotional poster for the 2005 Alberta Apocalypse Challenge are up at www.abbba.org under the tournament section.

We look forward to seeing new coaches coming out to play this great game.

Anyone able to come out this weekend to Toppy's tourney, you won't be disappointed, Toppy runs a great tourney and I'm sure this one will be better than last year. It's supposed to be rainy on the weekend anyway so you have nothing better to do.

Hey, just got back from the tourney at it was great, had a lot of fun, didn't win anything, came in 5th, but it was a great time. I would highly recommend people attending this one next year (same date, July Holiday weekend). Wink
Hats off to Toppy for putting on another great tourney. Worship Trophy

Are or will the tourney results be up anywhere? How many people were there?

Toppy says he got the run around when he tried to get his tourney sanctioned and sign up NAF members (at the tourney) last year, so he didn't bother with trying that again this year, so it was a non-NAF tourney.

Don't think there were many (if there was anyone other than me who was) NAF members at the tourney, but to answer your question, there were 14 at the tourney and the results should be posted sometime on the AbBBA website (www.abbba.org)

We are busy focusing on the Stolen/Lost BLOCK Dice, turn markers, and Footballs that happen while running this event. This will make running a Conflict event in two weeks almost impossible from a growing awareness of Blood Bowl perspective.

We should have the results up within the next couple of days. I will post here once they are up.

Thanks to all those within the Alberta leagues and the Coaches that are helping AbBBA in creating a better blood bowl enviroment in Westren Canada.
