Post subject: Norse Lineman Skill for a League
One of my Lineman in my Norse team just earned his first skill, and got Double 1's. What would you recommend I give him?

You can see what my team has so far here:

Thanks

Give him Dodge, makes them really tough to knock over unless you play Dwarfs. Its especially good if you are playing alot of other rookie level teams.

Guard. You can never have enough Guard and you don't want your Blitzers to have Guard, as Frenzy and Guard is not such a good combo. You never know where he'll end up.

Definitely guard! To boost your chances of effectively using all those block boys.

yea, forgot the Norse linemen don't get Strenght skills, take Guard, ignore my dodge comment above.

Yep...you made the right choice...but I just wanted to throw in a little added tid-bit...I disagree that Guard is not a good skill choice for a Blitzer.

As said above...you can never have enough guard. Plus, everyone on this team is a Blitzer. They all have the same MA and block...since the Linemen don't have STR access, and can not easily get guard, let them be your blitzers. They are less likely to get into trouble with Frenzy. If you set the lineman in the Blitzer role, then you will have 4 Guarders that will almost always be in the picture. (Barring stuns and injury...but that is part of the equation either way.)

Of course, the "true" Blitzers can then be used when you need to surf those opponents dumb enough to stand too close to the sideline.
