Snow Troll On E-Bay: Charity Auction!!

The winner of this auction will receive one of the new, as yet unreleased, Impact! Miniatures Snow Trolls. The model will be painted for you by the miniature's sculptor, Ewan, who also happens to own Impact! Miniatures. Ewan painted the miniature featured in this auction, so as you can see he is pretty nifty with the old brushes! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a classic model painted for you, in the colours of your choice, by an expert painter and sculptor.

The winner of this auction will need to provide his email address so that Ewan can contact him to arrange the details.

The proceeds of this auction will go towards a collection for Tom Anders, aka Galakstarscraper. Over the last few months we have been putting together a collection for Tom, with the aim of paying for Tom to come over to England for one of the major Blood Bowl tourneys; a small gift compared to the many hundreds of hours of work he has put into BB.

For the past few years, Tom has been solely responsible for coding and updating the Play-By-eMail Blood Bowl Tool, which has given some of us many, many hours of enjoyment. Without him, this device would simply not be workable anymore.

Now Tom has also taken over the development of the new PBBL ruleset for the BB relaunch in 2007. He is (again solely) in charge of playtesting these rules and presenting Games Workshop with a fully formatted copy of the new BB rulebook. This will require an estimated 2000 hours of his time. Whatever might be thought of the PBBL rules, this is some commitment on Tom's part, and one for which he will receive no payment.

Tom is also the most active member of the Blood Bowl Rules Commitee, maintains the Midgard online BB resource website, and commishes two online leagues ... the MBBL and MBBL2. All of these make further demands on both his time and money. All of this on top of a job that sometimes requires him to work 100 hour weeks.
