In my first league game under 5.0, the question acured when both winning and loosing coach roll over there FF do both gwet to go up or just the winning coach. As I read it, it looks like onnly the winning coach gets the opertunnity. Very Happy

Winning can only go up or stay the same, losing can only go down or stay the same.

Wow thats harsh. But it does make it better for the team that causes 5 cas and wins 4-0 and there FF would still go down.

I was about to miss use it. It seems almost unfair to the team that seem to not be able to win or just has a really hard shedule. But if you also think about what i said before you can dominate a game then loose FF.

yeah well I think a team that loses all the time but manages to do well against a obviously better team would still get some possibility to expand its fanbase

Win = Go up or stay the same
Lose = Stay the same or go Down

You can go up or down if you tie a match, just that you only get 2D6 to do it with instead of the 3D6 you get if you win.

Gotta be honest, you don't want a high FF anyway. After around the 7 it just inflates your TV with minimal or no payback and a big part of LRB5 is trying to manage your TV as efficiently as possible.

So now FF has become over rated?

Ah but with the LRB 5.0 the idea is that there shouldn't ever be an obviously better team in any given match. That was one of JJ's design goals. The higher TV team should have a higher chance of winning but the goal was that the underdog would always have about a 1 in 3 chance of bring home the victory.

Even if they are an underdog team to begin with (e.g. halflings, goblins, vampires)?

Nope. Gobbos & Flings were intended to win 20-25% of games at even TV. This should work proportionately so they'd win about 1/6 as significant underdogs.
