Been to a couple of tourneys now, and have seen many of you with small magnets on the underside of the bases.
Can someone tell me where I can find them. Having a bit of a problem finding them here in Montreal.
Spazz the ones you use are they the same for the bases and what you have for your Rotter team mutations.

Thanks
Dan

You can get some from Impact Miniatures. Don't know if that's the same ones as Spazz is using though. They also have lots of other interesting alternative miniatures for BloodBowl teams, carrying cases specifically for BB, etc...

I ordered them from Indigo science supplies on-line - will get a link when I am home.

I was looking at the Impact! magnets and base weights - very cool! Impact! has offered to sponsor prizes for the Q'ermitt, so I was looking at some of those supplies for the tourney.

Looked up Indigo supplies on-line to see the comparison as I like to see what our competition offers.

The Rare Earth magnets ... you have to purchase a minimum order of $15.00 CAD (with shipping to order from the store)

So comparing the 2 stores including shipping charges:

Indigo: 28 (least amount you can order) of N42 disc magnets 5mm x 1.5mm = $17.18 CAD
Impact!: 75 (least amount you can order) of Base Magnets 6.35mm x 1.6mm = $14.25 CAD

I use different size magnets, based on what I have left - I made a massive ordering a hwile bak - and am running out of some now - the ones I have are probably about the same size as the ones Galak just mentioned. I plan on ordering some from Impact! soon, so I will be better able to tell you when I get them. They don't need to be huge though, as they are very very strong! Depends on what you want to do with them.

Well like all of you...put one in the ball and one under each base.....damn short bodies on the Flings.
Also if you don`t mind Spazz...loved the conversions on the Rotters and the interchangable arms....so it would also be for stuff like that.

Happy to be a source of inspiration! Cool

(thinking about doing the same with a plastic rat ogre now!) Laughing

About the magnet in the ball - are you using the standard GW Plastic ball? The spiky one? The based one? Very Happy How do you get the durn things in there?

I use the standard GW ball that is on the base (also have one in a 2 ed ball too, though). What I did was use a pin vise drill to put a hole in the bottom of the ball and then widen that by twirling an x-acto knife until it was wide enough and deep enough. Make sure you do the ball first and then the players - don't want the ball flying off their bases because you have the polarity reversed!
