If a treemen is on the ground and wants to get on his feet/roots but fail the "go for it" roll, will that cause a turnover and armourroll? Or is it just a failure for him and no turnover?
A treeman does not have to Go For It to stand. He has to roll a 4+ roll to stand which uses all of his MA to do. Failure is not a turnover (it says so in the rules for Standing Up in the rulebook).

So if a Treeman wants to stand the order is:
1) Roll Take Root (no matter pass or fail ... continue ... but if he rolled a one he is Rooted (even if still prone)
2) Roll 4+ to stand up (if he fails he is still Prone ... if he succeeds he stands).

1. but he is only rooted if he manages to stand
if he failed take root but fails to stand.. but then passes take root and does stand the next turn.. he's not rooted is he?

So does this mean that a treeman who gets +MA still has to roll the 4+ to stand?
