Rules Questions - Claw(s) + Mighty Blow

Hi

I was playing a game this evening against my most common opponent. My Chaos Minatour, who had reached his first level had taken claw, added to the Mighty Blow that he started with.

Assuming I knock a player down and roll a 7 for Armour what happens?

A) Armour Break: Mighty Blow modifies AR to 8 thereby the claw breaks armour.

B) Both can't be used on the same roll so no Armour Break.

Claw says "...any roll of 8 or more after modifications..." so I'd have to say A
