This is the most entertaining tournament in the US. This year's theme is Carnival.
We will have carnival games in between rounds to help your team succeed on the pitch. Ask anyone that attended last year how much fun they had. I think we have outdone ourselves this year and may have a difficult time besting this event. This will be a once in a lifetime as we will never repeat it again.

We are still making some final adjustments to our rules and just wanted to get the dates out there for planning. I will post our final rules in a few days.

You can visit the site www.chromatic-cup.com

I am planning on making it out this year. Especially since it is apparently "The most entertaining tournament in the U.S." Though, any tourney where you are present is always entertaining; and I can only imagine how entertaining you'd be running one Very Happy

Ah man ... Tom did you really move this event from last year's dates? I'm always out of town the first week of June every year for the last many years ... so I'm guessing it was moved date-wise.

Seriously kick-butt tournament ... you guys should all go that can and I'll be jealous that I cannot this year.

I'm assuming that the tourney is actually going to be on the 4th-5th of June as that is the Sat/Sun that week. Of course I could be wrong but most start on the Sat not the Friday, is my assumption correct Tom? Will also try to make a few cross border ventures this year if possible.

Yes, it is Saturday and Sunday. I guess I didn't check my calendar before posting. Thanks for keeping it real.

Thanks Galak for the resounding support for my tourney.

Free beer again. I may get some Molson Golden for the Canucks.

James, Matt and myself spent Saturday afternoon hashing out how we are doing this years tournament. The site should be updated soon and the good times will happen.

To keep the tournament entry as low as possible, We will not be furnishing prizes this year. We will still have trophies and certificates to hand out. James will be providing some door prizes to give out as situational awards. We are going to provide lunch on both days and dinner again on Saturday night. (Beer all weekend- Summy may have a limit this year(j/k)). We are planning on playing games Saturday night.

Last year, I kicked in a little and overall we provided $300 to the Fallen Hero Fund. There will be a link on the website for this charity. This year, I am going to auction off a painted Sarkhos team ( I will put up pictures as soon as it is finished) for the main donation. I will also invite that everyone that wants to bring something to auction off for charity will be greatly appreciated. If you have something that may get a larger price tag, please post so we can receive outside bids also. We are giving $5 in play money for everyone to participate in the carnival games. However, we are accepting real dollars that will go to charity for playing the carnie games as you will be able to upgrade your prize to a higher level. If the details are vague it is because we want them to be.

We have some more surprises for you at the event. This won't be something that you will want to hear about second hand but actually be there for.

Wish I could make it to this event - sounds like it's going to be a great time. And that team up for raffle looks awesome! (I saw the pictures over on the Zlurpee forums, I think the links are broken here)

I believe he said it twice just to make sure that you Americans heard what the Great White North had to say instead of just ignoring us as usual Razz

See y'all in a weeks time and i hope y'all are prepared for the "Red & White Dawn" that is about to invade; and please keep your militias at bay as we come in peace and only wish to teach our southern brethren how Blood Bowl is truely played in the wilds of Canada!!! Very Happy

Sorry dingle, I couldn't help myself. We will be using the great american scoring system and our northern friends may not be doing as well. It's not like it is rigged against per se.

Its great to hear you are coming Eric. I hope you are bringing a ringer though, I have seen you play blood bowl and the only lesson you will teach anyone is that Nuffle hates you more than me.

WOLVERINES!!!

Sol, I look forward to the rematch, only this time I am not going to go so easy on you! I was showing you good Canadian hospitality in that last game, you being a guest in my city and all. But all that's over now!

Just remember Yanks, that this Canuck has won one hundred percent of all the games he has ever played in America! So I am bringing the hurt to your side of the border!

Abit of a small n number on the games played in US there. We'll increase that n by six and maybe decrease the overall to 50%ish. Razz We don't have to worry about you playing Tom and maybe winning a game Very Happy

Well my bits that I mail ordered have not come in, which sucks, because this means I am setting back my schedule to have a ranking with all 24 teams. Ah well. This means that I am going to be bringing the pain to south of the border!

That's right you sissy Yanks....

Zulu Dawn

is coming back State-side to protect the Canadian dream, which is, of course, crushing Americans in Blood Bowl!

Sorry guys, but I was unable to make it today. Had some car issues which meant that I could not get to Eric for the ride. He did offer to pick me up, but that did not help the fact that I needed to get the car to the mechanic.

I can almost hear Tom cussing me out for missing this....

Geez, way to think only about yourself!!! It took 5 of us to restrain Tom on Saturday morning . . . I have never heard so many swear words used in one sentence . . .

Thanks to Tom for running a great tourney, and to all my opponents. Had a great time and it was beautiful weather to boot.

I will certainly consider returning next year; and next time I won't be bringing CD's, and I am not even sure why I did this time Mad

Hey Tom,

Thanks for getting the results up quickly, BUT you may want to look at the game again. My last 2 games appear to be in the wrong order, not that I think this will really affect my final rankings but thought I would mention it Razz

Yes, I noticed it and I think the ratings have been affected. If someone could deleted round five and let me put it back in again it may fix it.

Hey Tom can you PM me the matchups that should have happened in the last round. It appears that either someone has already fixed it or that it will be an easy fix for me.
