OK, a clubmate of mine is coming to the Spiky in Reading with me, and if he gets the tournament bug like I think he will, we'd look at holding a tournament in Andover, Hampshire some time next year.
It'll only be a small thing, possibly only a day (4 games) or maybe 2 (but Andover's crap for cheap places to stay, so makes 2 day tournaments difficult).
As of yet, there's no rules or dates set, or how many we could have playing, so what I'm looking for is a rough number of people who'd be interested.Indigo - Jun 04, 2003 - 01:22 PM Post subject:
I'd be up for it, especially if it was next year and it mean't I had time to save. I have family in Eastleigh so it isn't too far down the road. It'll mean I might not be able to join in as much as I'd like with the aftershow party cos I'll be driving, but better that than not go at all!

I would come if it was next year, the girlfriend is having a baby in August so the Bearded Snot last month and the Spiky is my limit for this year.

And Matt, you want a friendly, then I give you a friendly. If it's 1/2 as much fun/laugh as our game at the BB then it'll be worth while.

It's still comletely up in the air at the moment. I'm the only one who has the BB bug, but my mate is really looking forward to spiky so.......
If it happens it would probably be either may/june time or later in the year (September onwards), but as I said, won't know if I can get it off the ground until October (he's the son of the scout troop leaders, so it helps with costs if he's onboard )
