Post subject: Question about Break Tackle

Can I choose to use Break Tackle after the roll? Or have I to announce Break Tackle before the roll?

I'm not 100% sure, but in my opinion, it's like any other skill, after the roll. But some people in my TT league are on other opinions.

Definitely after.

They might be confused if they've played the PC version of the game, as it's bugged there (always used on first dodge, whether needed or not).

If you turn off automatic skill use for Break Tackle it works fine.

But to answer the first question, as everyone has said, you can choose to use it after.

every skill use can be decided after seeing the dice roll

point 5 under the skills rule in the CRP page 23 (pdf page 19)

let them argue with that ;]

Nope, at least not on my and many others system (check the bug list there).
Unless they sneaked a fix in the last patch and kept it quiet.

huh, could have swore it worked right for me. Will go play some games to make sure, I may be wrong.
