Rules Questions - Yet another bloodlust question

Situation:

Vampire selects block action, bloodlust roll is a 1. Thrall adjacent.

Block result: both down. Vampire's armor is broken, and result is a badly hurt.

Question: which of the following happen? Vampire out for game (casualty), vampire out for drive (failed blood lust), thrall bitten.

My ruling: I used the rules as literally as possible. Competition rules, p. 7: "A coach that suffers a turnover is not allowed to take any further actions that turn, and any action being taken ends immediately even if it was only partially completed. Make armour and injury rolls for players that were knocked down...."

So, I ruled that the vampire is badly hurt, out for game. The thrall is left there untouched--since the vampire could not complete the rest of his action, which would include the bloodlust bite.

Your thoughts?

If regen failed yes.
I regen succeded, your vampire is only out till the end of the ongoing drive.

Should Blood Lust be rolled first? Then the Block Action happens...
The Thrall rolls on the Injury Table, then the Vampire is Badly Hurt.

No. Only passing, handing off, or scoring happens after the bite.
