The Danish TOURNAMENT SERIES 2017

- A Open Tournament Series, that covers the whole of Denmark.
- Tournament Series Organizer: Troels Panduro - "Bakunin"
- The first 4 tournaments (18 rounds) is Copenhagen Winter Bowl, Springtime Slaughter, Giant Fanatic Open XIX, Norsca Open VII

• Tournament organizers wishing to participate must: Contact the TSO with their intentions 60 days prior to their tournament's date. Provide the TSO with the results of their tournament within 14 days of the tournament's conclusion.

• Each coach's top scores will be counted toward their total, the rest will be discarded. The Top 3 results of any race will be counted*. There are no number of tournaments that a participating coach must attend.

• Each coach's top scores of the stunty races will be counted toward a stunty total for a stunty champion, the rest will be discarded. The Top 3 results of Goblins, Halfling and Ogre’s will be counted. There are no number of tournaments that a participating coach must attend

Scoring:
• +10 to +1 points for top 10 placement, on a declining scale. In other words, a 1st-place finish would be worth 10 points, a 2nd-place finish would be worth 9 points, on down to a 10th- place finish being worth 1 point.

• +1 point per day of the tournament. Given to all participants

• First Tiebreaker: coaches receive 0,3 points for each tournament they participate in. This score is taken in whole and is not reduced to "best 3" as with other scores. So someone who participated in 4 tournaments gains + 1,2 points, beating out someone who only played in 3 tournaments with 0,9.

• Second Tiebreaker: Best placed at Norsca Open VII

Prizes:
Prizes for 1st-3rd place and best stunty coach will be provided by the NAF and distributed through the TSO. Other prizes will come.

*: As long as the Tournament has been sanctioned to be part of the series, tournament specific house-rule rosters will also count towards your top 3.
.....................................................................................................................

3 of the 4 Tournaments is still waiting to be approved. Im sure others wil join up.

The Tournament Series is an 'open' one, to suit the danish Tournament scene best. Small-ish Tournaments will be able join up and get more hype, and most danish coachs would find it more fair if you dont have to go to all the small Tournaments to win. So its only "best out of 3".

Are these rules acceptabel?

Just a few questions:
- any minimum number of races to be played or can a coach win with playing only with one race?
- any restriction on Ogres for being stunty?
- suggestion from my side: use 0,1 points for the first tiebreaker, it's just easier to calculate and judge.

All should be as written.

So a coach can win if he/she only plays one race. I think its just easier, that you just have to show up and play at any toruney. And most danes dont alwyas play the same race.

In Denmark Ogre's are considered the worst team and its standard for stunty prize's in Denmark (Danish Open) that its "normal/full" Ogre, Goblins and Halflings.

Since it in '2017' will be best out of 3, the tiebreaker is very deliberate set at 0,3. Win 3 tourneys, and you probably win the series, but if its close you are rewarded if you are a mainstay of the Tournament scene.
