1 Day Charity Tournament - 4 Games

Date & Location
Jingle Bowl is a one-day four-game Blood Bowl tournament taking place on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at my house in Waterloo, Ont

Registration
The cost for the tournament is $20 ($5.00 to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region) which will include 2D6 & door prize raffle ticket. Cash on the day of the event is great so you can buy more tickets.

Registration limited to 16 due to space.

Schedule

Saturday December 7th

Registration/Arrival 9am
Game #1 9:30am - 11:30am
Lunch Break 11:30am - 12:15pm
Game #2 12:15pm - 2:15pm
Game #3 2:20 - 4:20pm
Games #4 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Awards 6:40pm

Roster Building
1,100,000gp to build your team including: skills, inducements, re-rolls, star players, fan factor, coaches, and cheerleaders.
70,000gp extra to Stunty teams for team creation.

Apothecaries work as stated in the CRP AND they
work on the 3 Jingle Star Players.

Each player is only allowed to gain a max of 2 skills OR 1 Stat upgrade:
- Each Single Skill available to that player is 20,000GP
- Each Double Skill available to that player is 30,000GP
- Each stat increase may only be taken once by your team.

This is a resurrection tournament (all injuries will reset at the start of each game).

The first round will be randomly chosen then Swiss pairing will begin on game 2.

If you and your opponent each have the same star player they do not refuse to play. Both clones will play.

YOU MAY HAVE 9 PLAYERS AND 2 STAR PLAYERS AS THE COMPOSITION OF YOUR ROSTER.
The 2 star player max rule is in effect. All new SPIKE Stars are welcome!!!

Journeymen, Igors, Mercenaries, Wizards, cards, and new coaching staff are NOT ALLOWED.

Brett "Turbo" Mann - Cost 100,000GP - Plays for any team

7 2 4 7 Dodge, Sprint, Pro, Loner, Animosity

Arnold Shwarzenclaus Cost 80,000GP - Plays for any team
MV ST AG AV SKILLS
5 3 3 8 No Hands, Secret Weapon, Regeneration, Safe Throw, Hail Mary Pass, Bombardier, Loner

The T-1000 Snowminator - Cost 120,000GP - Plays for any team

Further information regarding Special Play Cards is below.

NUFFLE HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE

Nuffle has graciously decided that each coach will receive one, randomly chosen 50k special play card (CRP) for your use during the tournament.

However, at the end of each game both coaches exchange their special play cards. The exchange continues after each match is finished. Nuffle didn't say it would be a good exchange.

UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATERS
If a coach wears an ugly holiday sweater to Jingle Bowl their team will receive one free assistant coach and one free cheerleader.

TIMING
Games will be 2hr in length. Players should do their best to play within this timeline or risk their game being ended by the tourney organizer (not ideal). We want to keep to the time line as much as possible so coaches traveling are not inconvenienced.

ILLEGAL PROCEDURE & DICE

Only NAF or GW block dice may be used as well as the d6's provided to each coach.

In keeping with the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called.

SCORING
After each game you will fill in the game sheet tracking the following:
Win: 6pts
Tie: 3pts
Loss: 1pt

A sheet will be provided for you to vote for your most enjoyable opponent
and to track your touchdowns and casualties.

All Stat increases are in play? Not just +AV and +MA?

Also, you've got a line in there about the Watchtower. I assume that's a copypasta leftover.

I'll need to check the schedule to see I can make it out for this one.

I don't know what line you're talking about. It's clearly not there Rolling Eyes

It says, "Each stat increase may only be taken once by your team," so rules as written mean all stat increases are in play. However, if a player is given a stat increase, that player may not be given any other extra skills.

Standard pricing of stat increases are in play
ST = 50k
AG = 40k
MV & AV = 30k

A little reminder that rosters and payment ahead of time will speed the process to getting started on Saturday morning.

Thanks for a great tounrey all. Derek well done sir! So glad to see that Jingle Bowl has found a new home and in such good hands. Thanks to my opponents for playing stunty so I had a chance at those wins.

Thanks to everyone who came out! I should have the results up within the next couple days.

Also, the final tally is in. We managed to raise $252 dollars for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Amazing job everyone! This donation is able to provide about 750 healthy meals to those in need.

I hope everyone had a great time!
