Maritime Blood Bowl Tournament Series
- Run from August to July each year
- Covers all tournaments being played in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Canada.
Planned Events
August 24 2024 – Kraken Cup (Halifax, NS)
September 2024 -- BBAM Bowl 3 (Moncton, NB)
October/November 2024 - Halifax Tournament (TBD)
February 2025 - Super Saturday Cup III (Halifax, NS)
Spring 2025 – BBAM Bowl 4 (Moncton, NB)
Summer 2025 – ABBA Championship (2 day tournament, Moncton NB)
Scoring
- Points are awarded based on where a coach finishes in the standings
- 10 points – first place
- 9 points – second place
- ...
- 1 point – tenth place
- If there are fewer than 10 coaches, the points awarded are equal to the number of coaches and reduce as normal per place.
Bonus Points
• Number of Coaches
◦ Bonus points are awarded for every 10 coaches who are at a tournament as described below
▪ 11-20 coaches: [1st-10th] +1 point
▪ 21-30 coaches: [1st-10th] +2 points, [11th-20th] +1 point
▪ etc.
• Number of Games
◦ 1-4 rounds +1 point for every coach
◦ 5+ rounds +2 points for every coach
• Organizer
◦ The organizer of a tournament receives bonus points as follows:
▪ 0-9 coaches – 0 points
▪ 10-19 coaches – 1 point
▪ 20+ coaches – 2 points
Total Scoring
- Coaches 3 best tournament results will be used for the Overall series scoring
Awards
- Champion
- Runner Up
- Stunty Cup
- Top Ranked New Brunswick Coach
- Top Ranked Nova Scotia Coach
- Top Ranked Prince Edward Island Coach.
Tiebreakers
• Any ties in the overall standings will be broken by the following criteria:
• Total points earned in all tournaments
• Number of tournaments won
• Number of races played
• Number of stunty races placed

Hi Paul, welcome to the party and thanks for registering your series.
Two questions so that I am sure I understand everything correctly:
- I assume this is an open series and the tournaments are just examples. If there are more within the region, these would also be included correct?
- and how do you handle variants? Is this only for normal BB or als 7s and other stuff? Both is fine, you just need to pre-define it.
And two comments:
- are cou paul_c on Discord? then I would include you in a Discord channel for Tournament series organizers. There is not a lot of traffic, but every now and then I give an update or somebody asks a question that is interesting for all. Drop me a note if you want to be included and what your Discord nick name is.
- and pm me your address, then I will ensure that you get the pins prior to the end of your series. Lets see, maybe some Germans come over for a NA tournament then I would give it to them, but if not your address helps.
