The Nuffle Blasphemer's Association (NBA) will be doing a legacy team this year, but we aren't trying to compete with the NAF and TBB legacy teams (though many of you have said you are interested in doing more than one legacy team), so we are planning on having a deadline that comes up before the others. The main reason for this (other than not wanting to compete with the other teams, is that most people seem to put off finishing the mini until just before the deadline anyway, so why set it too far away (so we are thinking of April or May for the deadline, but that can be finalised later). Not all the NBA membership wishes to participate in the team so we are openning it up to non-members. It looks like we will be going with a Necro undead team and the concept is to do a completely unique team instead of just painting up official GW necro minis (the were looks like crap anyway). So we are wanting to have the team made up of either converted minis and/or figs from other manufacturers (many goood alternatives for golems and weres out there). There is an idea being floated around about maybe getting a Mordhiem Udead box set and distribute the minis to random participants (good figs for zombies and coaching staff), but nothing settled on that yet. We are just gathering names of people who are interested right now, giving presadence to members, honourary members, people who have been associated (in one way or another) with the NBA, and then everyone else. It will depend on how many people in the above groups are interested and how big of a team we are going to do. If we get enough people, we will do coaching staff and markers (RR, turn, score, etc), so should be enough for everyon to do.

Here's a list so far of who's in and what they will do, will update as needed. A couple of people said they wanted to do two.
BTW, We are trying to keep this focused on people in the NBA, honourary members, and people who have had some relationship with the NBA (usually advisarial, but friendly). The others who said they would like to participate, may still be allowed to join, depends on how big we want the team (coaching staff, RR markers, etc).

BTW, this team may be sponsored by the NAF, so there are certain rules that must be followed. This team cannot be resold, if the winner cannot keep the team for whatever reason, he must contact myself and a new recipeant chosen out of the contributers. If you don't like that, don't contribute, this is supposed to be a unique team that is supposed to be a LEGACY of the people who participated, not a money making venture.

Looks like everyone else is doing a zombie, I will try to get some WH and/or Mordhiem zombie plastics and send them out to everyone. I will also get a sheet of transfers made up with NBA logos on it and send some out to everyone to put on their minis (for a unified team look). Therefore, EVERY MINI NEEDS TO HAVE SHOULDER PADS, doesn't matter if it's 40K or greenstuffed, but pads are required to put the logo on.

Just to let people know, just in case TBB goes down again Rolling Eyes

, I got the transfers I ordered, but they screwed up the order and sent 2 sheets of custom NBA logo transferes instead of one sheet of logos and one of numbers. Oh well, now people can paint their own numbers on or use scrounged GW number trransfers if they want. I have a spare Chaos numbers transfer sheet Anthony sent me last year (I think) so I could still send out numbers to everyone, but we would have to reselect some numbers for some people so that the range was from 1-16. What do people think?

I guess you all can either paint the numbers on or use left over GW number transfers for the numbering.

I have just sent out the envelopes with the transfers and bitz (for those who wanted them), so should be there within the next 2 weeks. My return address is on the envelope, so don't throw it away until you have copied it down so that you know where to send your completed mini. Wink

Just FYI, I made a list of all the participants who wanted to be included in the draw (actually roll), which didn't include me as I was doing it, and I rolled a die to determine the winner. Seemed to be the fairest most random way I could think of.
