Ok an Appothacary can be used to heal any Injury at any time? (Including KO'd & Stunned?)

If so, if my Rat Ogre is Stunned on his belly but refuses to roll over (I roll a 1-3 on his roll over roll). Can I just automatically roll him over with my Appothicary by rolling a 2+ ?

I think you could.

No because you have to cure an injury right when it happens, after that it's too late.

No, as you can only use the apoth at the moment the Injury (in this case stun) occured.

But if you use it when the Stun occured, then yes, you'd avoid the 4+ to rolll over.

I thought the apoth could be used on injuries only, hence not on stunned or ko'd. I thought injuries were only 10+ on the injury roll, for apoth purposes.

Nope, if you break AV you've caused an injury, with is either a Stun, KO or Cas, which is futher broken down into Badly Hurt, Serious Injury or Dead. All of them are injuries.

I still think it should be changed to any healed player moves to the Reserves box, but untill then looks like everyone has it right here Clan-Skaven.

It Dose make sence.

Using the apoth for K.O. / Stun seems wrong.

Agreed. That's the way we play it here. Keeps injured players off the field, where they belong.

We remove healed players to the reserves too. I would quite like to see this made official.

Personally, I'd like to see on-pitch medics brought back Wink

I wouldn't mind a choice. Automatically go to reserves with no danger to the apoth (if you don't roll a 1) or if you want to leave them on field stunned, then the apoth rolls another 2d6 on a 12 they get killed. Something like that could be interesting...

it's also a waste of your apoth role.. why WOULD you use it for a ko/stun when you could save it for a DEAD...

Last turn of a game, you need the player to score, he's the only one in range. It's happened many times before.

i disagree... read the rule in the LRB and it states "At any time during a match the Apothhecary may be used to cure one injury (Including Death) that has been suffered by a player on his team."

Now That means u cant heal stunned or Ko'ed players...
and the biggest thing is it dosnt make mention of haveing to use it right at the time of the injurythus meaning yuo could use it in your 8th turn b4 the game ended.. in the old BBmags they changed the rules, BUT the LRB supersedes them and therefore no where does it state it has to be used at the time the injury occoured... no errata to this date has been printed on this...

which is the same as you now no longer have to chose when you are going to use Mighty Blow... where as you had to B4 when the BB mags where the rules...

this should ressurect the topic. i played in a tourny not to long ago when this issue came up in a game player of mine was SI'ed and i used the apoth in 8th turn just b4 game finished...

Bieng stuned and Knocked out is injured so you can use it. As for the time of the use It is somewhere in the new rules i'll have to look maybe in a rules review or something.

@Sparticus - a bit selective in your quotes there.

pp28 Right hand colum, 1st paragraph "Apothecaries must be used immediately when the player suffers an injury."

pp12 "INJURY TABLE ... 2-7 Stunned ... 8-9 KO???D ... 10-12 Casualty"

You can apoth a stun and must use the apoth immediately.
