Post subject: Newquay Bowl - August 2005

The Newquay Bowl is now going to defiantley happen (just waiting on NAF sanctioning), so its sun, sea, surf, booze, ladies and Blood Bowl all the way. For those of you who dont know Newquay, it is a very bust seaside town with a GREAT nightlife, numerous nightclubs and bars, and very hot in August so bring sun tan lotion

The event will take place at the Barracuda nightclub in the centre of Newquay, it will be on the 6th and 7th August 2005 and it will cost £20 for NAF and £25 for non NAF. Lunch is included in the price for both days.

There will be 6 games played under the swiss style for 1,150,000 GC's teams. There will be a prize for Most TD's, most CAS's and best painted. Complete rules is available at our website.

Anyone wanting to come I would suggest booking rooms early as it is a VERY busy town in the summer. Here are some numbers for caravan and camping sites. If you want B&B's or hotels then the best I can suggest is doing a internet search as there are too many to list. If you need anymore help PM me.

Ronnie you gotta put this in the diary. I think most of us who would be at Spikey, Albion coast or Carnage or Pearly Kings etc would include this as a Tourney to go to.

I think Valen has found a good spot in the calender too. It will be a good time of year to hit cornwall as long as enough rooms can be sorted for visitors. We are there during peak holiday time for the B&B's is my only concern.

Well I have already stated on TBB that anyone who is defiantley coming needs to start booking now to make sure you get places, I am more than happy to go and make bookings in person for anybody who wants me to, that way I can look at the place before hand aswell.

Lycos is there a peraly kings and queens tourney this year???

Unless monies start too roll, I may have to considor cancelling this, as at the moment I am already out of pocket form what I have paid for so far, so please can people start to confirm their attendence.

I have an alternative venue, but that will be alot smaller but cheaper , so I need to make a decision soon.

The other venue does need paying for up front so I do need the money in asap

Best inaugural performance. Ever!

Well at only 155 my Human rating is not exactly amazing (thanks to a royal shoe-ing from Paul and Geoff in games 5 and 6 Rolling Eyes

) but their overall game performance of 3/1/2 is my best ever outing with a new team in the NAF. I am hoping for good things and as I can't make it to Albion ( Sad

) I am taking them to the Bubble.... Cool
