Folks- I realize that most of you don't know me, but I am looking for a little nudge to help me decide what race to play at Death Bowl 3 in Montreal.

Umm...they have to be painted? Neutral

Currently everything there except the Orcs and the Necros...and they are both well on their way. Smile

Norse is another possibility. Smile

Well, if you really want the Wooden Spoon then you can go for flings or gobbos, but since I want to see an American win this thing, I'll say Undead (voted flings in the poll). However, you should still bring the flings so that if we're paired off in the first round... Wink

Bring the Flings. I would so love to see a Halfling team do well at the DB. You'd have the 7's round in the bag if you tossed those flings well and the DB round could be equally interesting.

Undead. You know if someone asks what they should play and 'flings is an option, 90% of the yahoos out there are going to tell you to play them.

I voted Skaven, just cause I ve played you and your skaven (in our skinks v rats Phrakus score-fest) and you played them fairly tight.

Definitely do that over your stunties. Seen you take too many savage beatings with flings and gobbos.

Funny...you've been there for both of my stuny entries at tournies. I didn't do TOO badly with the 'Flings...but the Gobbos. YACK! If those models weren't painted as well as they are...you would have really seen Throw Team Mate in action. Smile

That said...I may be painting the 'Flings over with little Habs jersey's. Smile

Wait...I think I like the Leafs better.

EDIT: And actually the Maple Leafs motif will work well for 'Flings given the Treemen.

HALFLINGS ON STRIKE!!!

Apparently my 'Flings must have caught the GenCon CabalVision pay-per-view of the DeathBowl Skaven Match...they have gone on strike. Their Union Rep stated that their earliest possible return date will be October 17th 2005. He said that is when the WarChest of JellyRolls will run out...oddly enough this is the Monday after DBIII. Coincidence? I think not. At any rate they will not me available for your fouling pleasure in Montreal. Smile

I have a couple of alternatives in mind...we'll see what happens. Smile

It's not my fault...the Stunty Local 342 is to blame. Smile

For my part...I'll be glad to have players after turn 5 of the first half. Flings are not built to last with no Apoth and 4 blitzs and 4 fouls per turn. Smile

Well at least you admit that it's potentially 4 deadly blitzes. Smile

A blitzing 'Fling has at least as much chance at hut\rting himself as the target. Wink
