Hey guys,

THANK YOU for this special tourney and 2 days of outstanding Blood Bowl action!

Best Overall: TIM aka Tim Ibe
Dungeon Bowl Champion: BANELORD aka Daniel Metz
Runner Up: Brbel Becker
Best Painted: Harriet Fitton (Amazones)
Most Sporting: David Candish (22)
Most Violent: Florian Schulz (23/ +17)
Most TD's: Michael Homberg (20/ +12)
Best Dugout: Thorsten Bartsch

TIM will receive the results within these days...

+++ +++ +++

Last night I awoke after my tournament koma; I made a mistake with the signed gaming board - not listening to my own words - but the many others ringing in my head - I named the wrong coach for this special price!

The award for pure love of the game and a special performance goes to Mrs. Mali El Sawaf. With outstanding 19(!) sporting points and 4 scored TD's she also fought both days hard and played like she smiled - lovely to watch and nice to play against!

Cheers
CoachRattenfetza

Edit: by Tim: corrected a typo Wink

Hey Sascha, already back to work? Doesn't GW give a free day to an employee who worked the whole weekend? Looks like your boss would be a good slaver at the black furnace of Zorn Uzkul.

Anyway, great tournament again, perfectly organized, very friendly atmosphere. I had 6 very entertaining and thrilling games (a bit too thrilling for my taste, i'm really exhausted) against great coaches including dramatic ties against the defending champion Lucifer and his predecessor Floridaboy. Thanks to everybody who made this weekend one to remember.

Special thanks to our guests from the UK who always give the Dungeonbowl a bit of the international flavor that it deserves. Would be nice to see some more international guests (where were the french, the dutch and the belgians?) attending next year, you should really give it a try. It's the best GW run Bloodbowl tournament you can find and the Drakenburg is a great place to hold it.

Also, from my side: This was the greatest Tournament I've ever been to!

Ok, I admit, it was the first! But nevertheless, the atmosphere was superb! Organuization in this lovely place was outstanding and worth at least a special price from the NAF! Wink

I'm sure, in future, I'll see many of you coaches again in many other tournaments.

Block you on the pitch!

Well, the Belgians were at home. Although for us it's only just across the border for me it's usually decided by these points:
1) trouble getting tickets, I have to call GW Germany and have them sent to me and do it a long time in advance, by the time I start thinking about maybe attending DB, it's usually too late.
2) date was bad for me, couple this with 1: you need to plan a long time in advance which is not easy
3) price seems steep for what you get compared to other tourneys in Belgium and Holland
4) you can only attend so many tourneys a year..., in Belgium and Holland we have 6 NAF sanctioned tourneys + BorderBrawl, all close by, which is more then enough for me

But I'm hearing nothing but praise again, so maybe next year! Smile

Tim has the results....I have offered to do them and they would have been entered within 48 hours of my leaving Germany....sorry...it is still with Tim, I am sure he will get on to them. They are 0-0-0 becuase, to be fair to Tim, he has started them by entering all the players and the races....that lone takes time.
