Its time to start gearing up for the Zlurpee Bowl again. We had 37 coaches last year, and are aiming for 50+ this year, so help us out by getting out to the 'Big Show'.

6 rounds of Bloodbowl across two days, a ton of Awards and prizes several free giveaways for everyone that shows up.

The website is up with the rules pack and all the info you need. Pre-Registration is also open.
www.ZlurpeeBowl.com

One of the giveaways this year will be a limited edition Ogre figure. Thanks to Impact for working to get this project done. There are pics of the Green in the Zlurpee Forums, along with a lot of trash talking already.

The Harrisburg Mafia rolled into town and cleaned up last year, now they have a target on their back and several people looking to take them down.

Mafia will return to claim all of our prizes and bring the Golden Cup home! Woo!

We re looking at at least a few more this year than last. Maybe as many 10 (if you count honorary Mafia member, RobO)! The idea is to make sure no mid-westerner comes within a stone s throw (Zlurpee s throw?) of the top table!

Come get some.

Could you post a direct link to pics of the ogre? I? can't seem to find it on the forum.

Would love ot be able to make it out, but there is not much of a chance in hell.... epecially seeing as a friend is going to be running a local tourney around the same time.

Best of luck to you though! Hope you guys crack the 50 mark!

Just in case you haven't been reading the Zlurpee Forums, there isn't much time left to reserve a Zlurpee Board for yourself.

If you are going to the tourney check out the Zlurpee Thread

If you aren't going to be at the event we have a plan for you:

Pre-registration closes on June 12th, only the coaches on the list will be getting this years Zlurpee Bowl Dugout. So if you plan on attending please get your name on the list, I don't want anyone to miss out.

Also anyone paying in advance as well will get a 'Nuffle Sucks' Turn/Score Counter.

Don't miss out on this free stuff, make sure you are on the list. We are currently up to 46 coaches, and a handful yet to register, make sure you are part of the big gathering.

Top Prize will be a 12 model World Cup team plus a ZBIV Ogre painted by me, 13 limited edition models painted and ready for the Champion.

To keep up with all the Zlurpee News check out the Zlurpee forums. Pics of the dice have been up for awhile, and I can't remember everything else that has happened since I last posted on this thread.

I really wish that there was some way that I could make it out for this one, but the distance is too great, and the timing all wrong... maybe sweet talk the wife and tell her to buy me plane tickets as a Father's Day gift! (and yes, tremble fellow BBers, Spazz has procreated!)

When is the last time a Canadian traveled south? You would think with all the whining about the strength of the dollar, some of these Canucks would take advantage of it. Wink

Next year, some of us Canucks might make it there. We traveled to another province last year to play in the Spike. Now we are hosting it though so the travel is about 20 minutes for us now.

Brian-
Thanks for an awesome torney...it was a blast. Nice work on hitting your goal of 50+ coaches for Zlurpee Bowl Attendees. I am proud to be one of them and will push for a larger contingent from NC next year. Smile

The team competition was an interesting "Side Bet" that added alot to what was already a great event.

Thanks again for everything!

Brian,
THANK YOU! for a great tourney
it was a blast to see 50+ coaches and I hope to see more next year (I have been riding my friends to make plans for next year)
I am hoping that fabbl will be able to join the team challenge with 5 or 6 members next year from California

I took a lot from your hosting and I hope that when we hold the West Coast Quake in January 18-19th that we provide the same quality for our attendees.

That would've been me last year at GenCon. Wink Wink
And I came all the way from western Canada. The guys in Ontario and Quebec are much closer and could drive to most US tournies. So you're right, no real excuse for them. Wink
