....you change dice every time they roll a skull or 1

....you won't say "anything but a one", because that just invites bad luck

....when you have to dodge on the first square of an AG4 player's move - you won't count the first square out loud. Saying one will invite the dice to roll it!

....you lift your feet when driving over train tracks

....you think that when you accidentally knock down a player right before moving them, that it is a bad omen

For some reason I only use my NAF dice. Never let them touch any other dice and store them neatly with my team* .

Considering my record...I should let someone else use them.

Never call a Blood Bowl team an army - they don't like it, and fall over a lot.

(Someone should really ask the TSOALR guy to make a special BB strip... Wink)

You should also add

...never say "Go for it one" when you roll for the first of them

to the list

I do the first too. I'm convinced changing dice when rolling reduces the number of snake eyes & quad skulls.

Sorry I don't normally call them an army. I was taking a break from packing up a 40K army when I took a break to browse the forum and guess got stuck in that other mindset. I assure you all that it will never happen again.

Shocked

Nobody will touch my yellow NAF dice, they have only been used in 3 games, and all three times that team lost badly. The pink dice on the other hand seem to have a higher than average win percentage.

Lifting feet for train tracks? not a good plan if you need to accelerate faster to beat the train!

In the last tourney i attended, one of my opponents suggested using the same set of dice for the two of us.

The rolls were perfectly average: Ones to threes for me, and fours to sixes for him.
I had like 5 or 6 injured players in that game.

I will NEVER EVER again share my dice with someone else.

I don't do it every time, but if the dice seem to be rolling too many low numbers I will fire them and take journeyman dice.

So does anyone have a way to change a streak of bad luck? Any rituals or good luck charms? (I kid you not, when I was weeding my front lawn this morning, I was keeping an eye out for four leaf clovers!) Laughing

A friend of mine purges his dice of evil by immersing them in Jack Daniels.

My dice have to be "wearing" the same colors as the team or they won't play well with them. Also they have to sleep in the same case. I'm also thinking of storing them with the sixes all pointed up so the molecules in the dice will eventually align with the earths magnetic field to tip the probability factors slightly towards sixes. But not really superstitious though is it. That's just science. Rolling Eyes

I forgot one.
I actually did this one season.
I had my Purple-ish/ Pink NAF dice in a little pouch I kept with me at all times, except sleeping with my wife and taking a shower.
Did it help, NOPE!!!
