We have the cast of the 2012 West Coast Quake ZElvis figure. This model is rare an limited to a run of only 100 models. The Players that attend the 2012 West Coast Quake in Las Vegas March 17th & 18th will receive one as part of their registration. I am working with my cohorts to allow me to send those preregistered figures out so they may paint him up and use him in the game (at no extra cost to the roster) (I am working on it nothing is cast in stone)
Your best bet is to go ahead and register now and get that part out of the way.

Graet Job!! BTW, what resin do you use? The stuff I have used in the passed does not take paint very well, so I switched to very hard plaster. Also, I hope you do not mind if I steal this idea for my tourney? Very Happy

MAN I'm going to be on March 14 and 15th at Bailey's for the GAMA Trade Show trying to drum up some vendors for Impact!

I tried to convince my business partner that I needed to stay the weekend of the Quake for business reasons but he wasn't buying it and since my wife is coming with me to help run the booth ... trying to convince her to stay in Vegas for 3 extra days but me to not be with her for 2 of them was another impossible sell for me. As I get on the plane at noon on the 16th I'll be wishing I was throwing down with you guys.

Post subject: Half-off-plus Groupon deal running now at Alexis Park!
Have you booked your room yet at Alexis Park for the 2012 Quake? If not, GREAT! If so, you might want to adjust that reservation...

http://www.groupon.com/deals/ga-m-alexis-park-all-suite-resort

Going on NOW through midnight (Pacific) this Monday, the 13th, Alexis Park is running a Groupon deal where you can get TWO nights in a Loft Suite for just $99 combined -- that's at least half off, or more depending on what other room you might get. This deal has no black-outs dates (save Valentine's Day) and weekend stays are eligible, so it's good all through the Quake.

My wife and I have stayed in Loft Suite at Alexis Park before and it's a nice room -- split-level with open-loft bedroom area full large full bath upstairs, plus a couch with full-size fold-out bed in the living area downstairs, plus a jacuzzi, fridge, and more. She and I were already going to book a Loft Suite for three nights for the Quake before this deal come up; with the deal limit on this one being two, I bought two and we're now staying four nights instead, for cheaper than three nights would have been at the normal rate with AAA discount!

NOTE: Before you purchase the deal, I would just recommend calling Alexis Park's reservations 800# and confirming they still have loft suites available for the nights you want, to be safe. Note that, according to the deal's Q&A page, you can also get even bigger, better suites by using this deal as a base and paying an upgrade fee. Once you know you can use the deal, buy it off the Groupon site and you'll get your voucher codes -- once you have those, just call Alexis Park back and book the reservations. The Groupon voucher will say that you can't use the codes for 24 hours but go ahead and make your reservation immediately and it will be fine -- they'll just ask you for the code but it's OK since the code once actually be "used" until your stay in March!)

Post subject: The West Coast Quake goes social!
The West Coast Quake has gone social, and you can find it on the following sites:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wcquake
Twitter: http://twitter.com/wcquake
Google+: http://wcquake.com/plus

Please like, follow, or circle us as appropriate ("Likes" on Facebook are especially appreciated, as a Page needs 25 Likes before it can choose a custom URL) -- I promise we won't spam your feeds!

The http://wcquake.com site will always remain the primary source of all WCQuake info; the social media pages will only be used to notify fans of relevant, breaking info:

-- if something like the Alexis Park Groupon deal comes out to save our attendees $100+, we'll let you know
-- similarly, if we make an update to rules or the schedule or the goodies, things that people need to know, we'll post about it.

That way, you can follow the feed of choice and know right away when anything important comes up -- other than that, I promise we'll be quiet and leave you alone! Wink
