TOURNAMENT TEAM GUIDE

1,250,000gp to build your team including: skills, inducements, re-rolls, star players, fan factor, coaches, and cheerleaders.

Apothecaries work as stated in the Standard Blood Bowl Rule book AND they work on the 3 Jingle Star Players.

Each player is allowed up to 2 additional skills OR 1 Stat upgrade (AV or MA only at 30k) and 1 Skill upgrade:
- Each Single Skill available to that player is 20,000GP
- Each Double Skill available to that player is 30,000GP
- Each stat increase may only be taken twice by your team.
- Each skill may be duplicated no more than 4 times.

This is a resurrection tournament (all injuries will reset at the start of each game).

The first round will be randomly chosen then Swiss pairing will begin on game 2.

If you and your opponent each have the same star player they refuse to play.
- The three Jingle Stars are immune to this rule and can be fielded by both coaches.
- You may field up to two of the Jingle Stars at the same time.

YOU MAY HAVE 9 PLAYERS AND 2 STAR PLAYERS BE THE COMPOSITION OF YOUR ROSTER.

Journeymen, Igors, Mercenaries, and Wizards are NOT ALLOWED. Further information regarding Special Play Cards is below.

NUFFLE HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE

Nuffle has graciously decided that each coach will receive one, randomly chosen 50k special play card for your use during the tournament.

At the end of each game both coaches exchange their special play cards. Nuffle didn’t say it would be a good exchange…

TIMING
All games will begin at the same time. To ensure fair playing, the 2hr 15min time for each game will be enforced with the tournament organizer updating the time to assist players in time monitoring. If the TO feels that your game may not be finished in the allotted time you may be placed on a timer.

ILLEGAL PROCEDURE & DICE
Please decide before each game if you will share dice or not.

Only NAF approved or GW block dice may be used as well as the d6’s provided to each coach.

In keeping with the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called.

SCORING
After each game you will fill in the game sheet tracking the following:

Tie: 3pts
Loss: 1pt
A sheet will be provided for you to vote for your most enjoyable opponent and to track your touchdowns and casualties.

I hope not again that photo calendar of Xtreme and JonnyP in lingerie like last year. The March page was a bit too detailed.

I'm glad you like it Wapcaplets Smile The tray is slightly on the larger side but we were thinking that it could be used in other games as well (dNd, 40k, etc). Make sure that you send your email with what you want your personalization plate to say too (40 characters) Smile

A couple of questions:

- Are team rosters limited to 2 Star Players (CRP inducement rules limit use of Star Players to a max of 2 per team)
- For the best painted Jingle Star Player, may we paint and enter a miniature even if we don't have it on our roster?
Fevin - Oct 09, 2013 - 06:51 AM
Post subject: RE: Re: RE: Jingle Bowl II - Saturday, December 7, 2013
A couple of Answers Smile

- Yes, you can only have two star players per team but they can be the 10 and/or 11 player(s) on your team if you want. (9 reg guys, 2 star players)
- Yes, you do not have to enter a miniature that you are playing, just a miniature that you painted Smile

This is not mandatory, but it would be a GREAT help to me to have as many rosters submitted by midnight December 5, 2013 as possible. I will have them printed and waiting for you. If you choose not to, please ensure that you bring at least 2 copies of your roster to the tournament. Also, pre-submitting your roster means you don't have to get up quite as early Smile

You can e-mail them to jingle.bbowl@gmail.com

Post subject: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Jingle Bowl II - Saturday, December 7, 2
We wanted to say thank you to each coach that made the trip out for Jingle Bowl II, we had a great turnout and a great time. It was fantastic to see the return coaches and all the newer faces this year, we are excited to see the turnout for next year (rumor has it new jingle stars may make their debut...) Smile The largest part of what made this tournament a success was each coach that made the trip: we hope you all had a wonderful time, a safe trip home, and hopefully we see you out here again next year Smile

This tournament was put together with hours and hours of help and I wanted to take this post to express our gratitude for everyone that assisted us in getting this together:

Nick C, Will, Stephanie, James, Armaan - Staffed the tournament and kept things moving along smoothly.
Sol K - providing free lodging to travelers and checking rosters the day of the tournament
Matie - running the raffle, roster checking, trouble shooting, brain storming ideas, donated raffle items, and endless support
Nick C - My odd man out every year (already signed up for next year Smile )
Will F. - Doesn't play blood bowl but logged in over 60 hours of free labor and experience to make the dice trays.
Hampton Heros Hobby Group - All the support, advertisement, encouragement, and attendance any T.O. could want or need.
HVBBL - Great league of blood bowl players that advertised, played practice games, and helped get newer coaches interested in tournaments.
James - Made the trophies (Most Cas, Most Tds, Best Defense)
Randall, Mantic Games, and Michael B. - Donating raffle items.
Announcers - I lost most of my voice part way through (pesky cold) and several coaches stepped up to do the match report announcing, time calls, and convey information to coaches.

Thanks again for your help.
Very Happy
