The outlaws and lawless BB tournament, for those special few that skirt around the border patrols is back!

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $50 - Non-NAF members (with $10 going towards NAF membership sign-up).

TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 5/2/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the LRB6.0 rules including all 26 approved races.

TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,100,000 gold crowns with which to build a "rookie" team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, fan factor, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in CRP/LRB6.0 rules and may not be used on Star Players.

INDUCEMENTS
No inducements may be purchased unless you are the coach of a â€œStuntyâ€ team. Stunty teams include; Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld (without Skaven), and Lizardmen (without Saurus) teams. Stunty teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player. Goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef, all as per standard CRP/LRB6.0 rules.

TEAM IMPROVEMENTS
A player may receive a max of 1 upgrade. (Veteran players tend to avoid the Festival)
Every team will get an extra allotment of TV to spend towards skills and stat upgrades based on tier.
A max of 1 of each stat upgrade and 2 of each skill may be selected.

Tier 1: ( 100k) Amazons, Bretonnians, Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves
Tier 2: (120k)Chaos Renegades, Elf Union, High Elves, Humans, Khemri, Necromantic
Tier 3:(150k) Daemons of Khorne, Chaos, Nurgleâ€™s Rotters, Slann, Underworld Denizens, Vampires
Tier 4:(180k) Goblins, Halflings, Ogres

The near lawless Border Princes style of Blood Bowl play will be reflected by the drawing of Special Play cards by coaches before each match.

Only up to 2 cards of the same value may be drawn per match.

example: game 3- 2 50k cards and 1 100k card for 200k or

2 100k cards for 200k or

1 200 k card for 200k
you may not pick 4 50k cards.

games 1 and 2 - 100k value of cards

games 3 and 4 - 200k value of cards

game 5 - 400k value of cards!

Can you handle more then 2 frenchies at the time? Razz

I figure we can handle 18 -24 entrants if most bring tents. I grew up in Montreal so yeah I can handle more than 2 at a time. Very Happy

Ps. The Death roller has been repaired. It now has brakes and a throttle that doesn't stick to the floor. Twisted Evil

Forecast is good! Looking forward to seeing all the coaches. We have some great prizes from Norm at Sous Sol Hobby, and of course bottles of Rum, Cuban cigars, Ribs and burgers, fireworks, and I've seen a few toads!

Well another great BB weekend on the river is over and I had a great time with the Old Guard of the Montreal area.

Eight coaches with over 100 years of BB tournament experience and just under half of the Death Bowl Championships Between them.

Who here's won Deathbowl? Sorry, Ryan. Hahhaaha

Saturday was a scorcher but with half time swims and open bar things rolled smoothly.

Thanks to Dan and Pat for all the logistical support, Dags and Joe for tech support, and a shout out to Norm at Sous Sol Hobby for the great prizes.

Looking forward to next year with an open invitation to any coach that would like to attend.
