Post subject: REMINDER: Brassman Bloodbowl Open (now called BrassBowl)
Hey all,

just a small reminder that the 2nd edition of the Brassman Bloodbowl Open tournament, now with the somewhat more catchy title "BrassBowl", will take place December 4 and 5 2004 in Oostende (Belgium).

As most people who were there can attest, we pride ourselves on providing a tournament with a fun, laid-back atmosphere, while still maintaining a fairly high level of competition.

All info can be found at http://217.115.199.13/BrassBowl2004.htm, along with the necessary contact information, or by dropping me a line of course.

Hope to see you there!

Sam

Didn't Sputnik advertise his candidacy for tourney official saying he wanted to speed up the processing of tournament results? Rolling Eyes

I believe Sputnik only has internet access at work, I'm sure he'll get to it after the holidays. The tournament organiser also has the option of entering them.

Bugger, if I had known I'd have done it myself.

Is it hard to do? Any link to guidelines?

thanks

Ah, but it has been a Chritmas month with lots of vacation. Please be patient a little more. You never know what explanation will come. I haven't seen much from Sputnik lately so who knows whats going on?

I had contact with Sputnik. It was as I feared. Work is absorbing all his time due to unexpected circumstances. I know he will be at the Dutch Open and we will talk about this issue then as weel. Please have more patience still.

Embarassed grummelgrummelgrummel...

yes, right now I am quite busy at work, that's true. However, I only got contacted yesterday in this respect and didn't know before that the results were not entered yet. They should be in as soon as possible now.

Sorry for the inconvenience, guys. Embarassed

My apologies for the delay everybody. Bit of a breakdown communication on our part (prolonged by the holidays). We'll get this sorted asap. Thanks for your patience.

Strange, the results for Raf De Meyer (NAF nick = Totti, nbr 4246) don't seem to be entered. And I'm sure he played at least 1 NAF ranked player (Hoomin' in round 4 IIRC).

Are only the results from games against NAF members listed, because it sais I only played 4 ggames instead of 5
BrassSam - Jan 14, 2005 - 10:24 AM

Raf, your first opponent was non-NAF, so yes its not included, and you only have 4 results counting.

Gert, I'll send you a PM.

So why do you drink wine then? Going to belgium and drinking wine instead of beer is like going to Italy and eating a hamburger at Mc Donalds instead of pasta. Razz

let's not go there dude...

comparing fine Italian wine to the syphilitic urine served as beer in Vlaanderen convinces me you have already drunk too much of the stuff... Razz

@Norse: There is a small but fine selection of local wines in Belgium, but mainly outside Flanders. Give the a try next time (or drink Ciney Brune Wink ).

@Tuernredvenom: Heineken is not a beer! Besides you don't come to Belgium to drink wine. Although we have some excellent wines in Belgium (in Flanders as wel as Wallonie), our beer is the best in the whole world.
Hey a belgian fellow can be proud of his beer (it's one of the few things we can be proud of)!
