The first annual STUPOR BOWL will be held on March 29-30th in the Chicago area.
There will be lots of food, drink, prizes, and Blood Bowl mayhem to be had by all!
Also, a limited edition figure that will ONLY be available to STUPOR BOWL I participants.

Most likely this will be a TV1100 tournament. You will choose one of the following which remains set for all 6 games:
COACH GIKTA???S STAT PACK
You may choose 1 player to increase their Strength OR Agility by +1
AND You may choose another player to increase their Movement OR Armour by +1
(Ex: 1 Human Blitzer with ST4 and 1 Human Catcher with MA9)
COACH GIKTA???S STANDARD SKILL PACK
You may choose 5 normal skill choices and give them to 5 different players
AND You may choose a 6th player to receive a normal OR doubles skill choice
(Ex: 2 Blitzers w/ Mighty Blow, 2 Blitzers w/ Guard, 1 Thrower w/ Accurate, and 1 Ogre w/ Block)
COACH GITKA???S ADVANCED SKILL PACK
You may choose 2 players on your team to have 2 normal skill choices each
(Ex: 1 Dark Elf Blitzer with Sure Feet and Sprint AND 1 Witch Elf with Block and Strip Ball)
Tournament scoring will be very similiar to Chaos Cup (55/35/10 bonuses for TDs/CAS)
There will be lots of prizes, awards, shirts, a limited model, dice, and also a special part of the tournament known as the Stupor Bowl Shuffle will also occur. More on that later!

Bobbo -- You will begin with 1,100,000 to build your team with. Skills and Stat increases will have no gold value and do not add to any player costs.
Karl -- Star Players will be allowed, but will most likely be 0-1. Regarding skills, I want to go a little beyond the upgrades that other tournaments allow. Some teams might need that extra boost of a player getting two skills or a stat increase as opposed to just a bunch of skills to different players.

The rules have been updated. Nothing major, just fixed the wording on a few things and increased the amount of awards.
To Pre-Register, send payment via paypal to me at jpeletis@gmail.com The price is $30. If you know what team you are playing let me know....if not, no big. Also tell me what town you live in.
In that price you will get 6 games of hot, sexy, blood bowl action, two STUPOR BOWL I D6's, Da Freezer Limited Edition model (Only 200 in the entire world!), food and drinks during the tournament, and a guaranteed great time with a chance for great prizes. Working on also getting a limited kickoff coin for everyone.
If you do not pre-register, your price will be $35 at the door. I gotta give people a benefit to pre-registering!
T-Shirts are still up in the air right now, so I cannot promise them. If I can get them, I will order a bunch of difference sizes and sell them at the event. Sorry for this....I just don't have the funds to front all the money right now....but if enough people pre-register, maybe I can!

Since I have a lot of questions on this I just wanted to clarify.
Regardless of what upgrade pack you pick (skills, skills for same player, or stats), it DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR TEAM VALUE IN ANY WAY.
You first build your team totalling 1,100,000.
Then you pick an upgrade pack...worth NOTHING toward your TV. Your TV should really just be your players, inducement, coaches, cheerleaders, rerolls and fan factor.

Thanx for all the great games, John put on a great tournament. I know I had a rough time getting to the top table, to fall short to Frank (Champion), who I got to play twice during this tournament the other being a tie. We are forming a friendly rivalry which now stands at 1 win each and 2 ties. Great game Frank, congrats again. I was impressed with several things in the tournament, I like how people painted bases differently to represent different positions, and one player even wrote skills on base (extra ones) which was extremely helpful and saved huge time. Anyways that's all I hope to see you all in the near future.
