The outlaws and lawless BB tournament, for those special few that skirt around the border patrols is back!

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $50 - Non-NAF members (with $10 going towards NAF membership sign-up).
TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 3/1/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the LRB6.0 rules including all 24 approved races.
TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,100,000 gold crowns with which to build a "rookie" team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, fan factor, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in CRP/LRB6.0 rules and may not be used on Star Players.
INDUCEMENTS
No inducements may be purchased unless you are the coach of a “Stunty†team. Stunty teams include; Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld (without Skaven), and Lizardmen (without Saurus) teams. Stunty teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player. Goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef, all as per standard CRP/LRB6.0 rules.
TEAM IMPROVEMENTS
A player may receive a max of 1 upgrade. (Veteran players tend to avoid the Festival)
Every team will get an extra allotment of TV to spend towards skills and stat upgrades based on tier.
A max of 1 of each stat upgrade and 2 of each skill may be selected.
Tier 1 (100k) includes; Amazons, Chaos Dwarves, Dwarves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves
Tier 2 (130k) includes; Chaos, Chaos Pact, High Elves, Elves, Humans, Khemri, Nurgle, Slann , Vampires.
Tier 3 (160k) includes; Halflings, Goblins, Ogres, Underworld,
The near lawless Border Princes style of Blood Bowl play will be reflected by the drawing of Special Play cards by coaches before each match.
Only up to 2 cards of the same value may be drawn per match.
example: game 3- 2 50k cards and 1 100k card for 200k or
2 100k cards for 200k or
1 200 k card for 200k
you may not pick 4 50k cards.
games 1 and 2 - 100k value of cards
games 3 and 4 - 200k value of cards
game 5 - 400k value of cards!

You can confirm now!! Was always planning on coming but was just waiting on time off request to go through. I have Friday off and don't work until the afternoon on Monday...should be plenty of time to take part in the Summer festivals Rum & Coke like festivities 
Will also see about dragging a few of the Ottawa lot along for the ride. Sure I will have a few takers for this weekend.

Everyone remember to bring sleeping bag. towel, bathing suit and food for BBQ! Cold beer will be available at $1/can but feel free to BYOB. Tents if available should be brought.

And everyone please remember to put up the tents before drinking. Ryan learnt the hard way last year and had to sleep on the floor but in his state I do not think he felt anything.

ummm, and don't forget to bring soap and deodorant for the trip....having a bunch of us eating, drinking and who knows what else for 2 full days...we don't need to add smelly to the list of things we are bringing with us!!!

Unfortunately, I will have to back out from this year's tourney. Sorry Runki, I was really looking forward to it. Will have to catch up with everyone soon, my son has a Conference final football game on Saturday that I can't exactly miss. His first year in an Ontario varsity league and they are 2 wins away from the league Championship...pretty exciting to be honest.

Well another Border Prince has come and gone and now my damn liver needs a break. A total blast was had by all that came to play. There really is nothing like this tournament. Play a game and then jump into the water waiting for the next game. So relaxing and laid back in true Woodstock fashion.
Getting to sit around a fire at night time watching Colin setting off some fireworks is always a good time.
Congrats to Grant for winning it all and next time I will not be playing Pro Elf against you....

Big thanks to Colin for hosting this great event! I had a great time. Camp fires, swimming, BBQ, fire works, late-night tent moves, drinking games that involve fire, AND blood bowl. What more can a guy ask for. Already looking forward to next year
