The outlaws BB tournament, for those pot hunters that manage to skirt around the border patrols, is back !

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $45 - Non-NAF members (with $5 going towards NAF membership sign-up).

TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 5/2/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the BB 2020 rule set.

TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,100,000 gold crowns with which to build a "rookie" team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, dedicated fans, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in the current rule set ( BB 2020)and may not be used on Star Players.

INDUCEMENTS DURING BUILD
Teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player and must also pay a tax to do so.

" Bribery and Corruption" teams may purchase bribes (50,000 gp)
Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef ( 100,000 gp)
" Low Cost Linemen" teams may purchase Riotous Rookies (100,000 gp)

3 primary, 1 secondary and 1 free primary Dirty Player skill
Tier 2
5 primary ,1 secondary and 1 free primary Dirty Player skill
Tier 3
7 primary , 2 Secondary and 1 free primary Sneaky Git skill

* free skills may not be used to purchase Star Players
A player may receive a max of 1 skill ,
however, 1 player may receive an additional primary skill by spending a secondary skill.
A max of 2 of each skill per team

2 Tomb Kings, Elven Union, Slann, Orc, Necromantic, Chaos Renegades, Imperial Nobility, Human, Khorne, Vampire, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Chaos, Black Orc.
3 Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings.

Special Rules:

The exiled Nobility of the Border Princes are always trying to " one up " each other and as a result each team will be receiving an allotment of gold to spend on extra inducements for that round.

0-2 Wandering Apothecaries 100,000 gp each (not available to teams that cannot hire an apothecary)
0-1 Mortuary Assistant 100,000 gp (" Sylvainian Spotlight " teams only)
0-1 Plague Doctor 100,000 gp (" Favoured of Nurgle" teams only)
0-1 Riotous Rookies 100,000 gp ( "Low Cost Linemen" teams only)
0-1 Halfling Master Chef 300,000 gp ( 100,000 gp " Halfling Thimble Cup " teams only)

I have a question about inducements. Let's say I'm playing Goblins and I purchase 3 permanent bribes for my roster at the start of the tournament. Does this mean that I am still entitled to the full allotment of gold to purchase other inducements before each game, but no additional bribes because I've already got 3? For example, in addition to my 3 bribes, I may also purchase 2 kegs at the beginning of game 1 because the bribes were bought with my startup treasury.

Checklist for the new guys and gals.

Tent, Coffee mug. Bathing suit. Towel. Bloodbowl Gear.

We supply food, alcohol ( rum or rum), cigars and outhouse.

Of course you can bring your own favorite poison ( to drink or smoke, ingest)
and food for the BBQ.

What an awesome weekend at Border Prince. Many of the old guard were in attendance and honestly it felt like we were back in the early 2000s

1st I would thank Colin, Debbie and Graeme for being awesome hosts and for letting us geeks crash your land.
2nd my opponents...as always you make this game the best that has ever been created
3rd Ryan with his crazy a$$ margarits on Friday. Thanks to you most of us are a bit blurry with what happened on Friday.....LOL

Bonus.... Colin with the most amazing fireworks...always a hit on the Saturday

Thanks to everyone who attended!
I had a great time hosting the coaches willing to rough it to play Blood Bowl.
We set a record with 18 teams!
With so many of the old guard returning it was like a reunion.
And many new ( to the Border) coaches were welcomed!

Another thanks to you Colin and your wife and son who helped to make things runs smoothly. It was a great experience and one I hope to repeat for as many years as I am able!

I am just curious though, when Manz62 won most casualties, was that taking into account any of the dice cups he killed? Or was it just casualties on the pitch?

So good to see so many familiar faced again, many of whom I have not seen for a long time. It was like a family reunion!

The Score results only appear as code. ??

Anyways, I sent the code to Sean for decoding for the GLAM series.
I do have the game scores written in my book and will use that as last resort if the code is unbreakable.
