Post subject: CCKO 2020: All Amorical January 18-19th in Ottawa-Gatineau
Just getting everything set up for next years CCKO. Last year was our largest ever event in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. If we can get close to last years 36 coaches I will be delighted.
It is going to be a tribute/practice for the Amorical cup held just accross the river in Ottawa on June 7-8th 2020.
The rules will be the Amorical cup rules, but the event will be played as individual players not teams.

Schedule has been worked out.
3 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday, like last year. 2.5 hours per game. We are starting early, hoping that lets people have lots of time hang out Saturday and travel home Sunday.
Saturday 18th
8.30 Registration
9:00-11:30 Game 1
11:30-12.15 Lunch
12:15-14:45 Game 2
14:45-15:05 Break
15:05-17:30 Game 3
Sunday 19th
9:00-11:30 Game 4
11:30-12.15 Lunch
12:15-14:45 Game 5
14:45-15:05 Break
15:05-15:35 Raffle draw and prize ceremony
The price will be the same as last year:
$30 on the door
$25 in advance,
$20 for NAF members.

(Paypal charges fees, so if you really want to use paypal send me $21.50) (Unless u are coming from another country, I will take the fee hit if you are making the trip

The first 40 attendees will get a set of the CCKO 2020 d6.
The raffle will be expanded this year. Each player can still only win one prize, but there will be more available.
People who prepay in November get 4 raffle tickets, December is 2 Raffle Tickets, and January is 1 raffle ticket.
I will give an additional 3 raffle tickets to people who submit their rosters by December 31st as well.

So there have been a couple of reasons for the delay, one is we had to switch dice providers. Looks to be all sorted out now.
I won't be playing this time, so I can do more things during the event.
Schedule has been worked out.
3 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday, like last year.

There will be trophies for the tournament awards (Champion, Stunty cup, etc). Hurray!

Also, if you are coming and haven't prepayed do so, it gets you 1 raffle ticket vs just showing up and getting none

We must be close to 30 now as 2 more from Niagara confirmed they are coming (I know since they are staying at my place )
The friendly punk unfortunately won't be there as his KC Chiefs are in the AFC Conference Finals to go to the Super Bowl and that game is on Sunday (CCKO used to always be during Pro Bowl weekend which nobody cared about and didn't interfere with the tourney) Fortunately my team sucks right now so it doesn't affect me at all
Your name isn't there so there is an excuse to not include it on the trophy if you happen to win again!! They are just preparing you in advance this time

We have one more player just signed up, he just moved to Montreal from Mexico City. So we are currently at 35.

Thank you Joe for hosting the CCKO 2020.
After facing Halflings, Wood Elfs, Khemri, Chaos Dwarves, and Norse my " Hoser Daddies" Chaos took the cup!
It goes to show, how on any given Sunday with a bit of luck and no big errors, anyone can win.
Thanks to all my opponents, who all played well and kept the standings tight through the finals.
This is my first win with such a large field of entrants and one I will savour for a long time.

Thank you to everyone for coming out for the CCKO 2020: All Amorical.
34 players for the 2nd year in a row, wow. So cool.
It was quite the time, with the father and son show down for the title. With Colin finally taking the crown, after a couple of runner up positions before. His name goes on the legacy trophy now.
I have managed to get the data into the system, so the impact on your rankings should appear soon(ish).
