I'll be arriving Thursday evening. Any tips on how to kill time until the tourney starts?
Friday is a Cubs game and I will be there if you feel like getting tickets too! Blood Bowl takes over Wrigley!
Other stuff you may want to check out...I threw some locations on there if you want to google map things out a bit.
-Lou Malnati's Pizza - the best pizza ever. in Schaumburg (On Roselle Rd), In Naperville (On Washington)
Those two locations are in the burbs (northern and southern respecivcely), so if you want good pizza without going into the city, try those. If you are already going into Chicago, then try one of their city locations

-Johnny's Beef - best Italian beef around. Elmwood Park or Arlington Hts. WHen you are at Chaos Cup, there is a place Portillos right there that has pretty good beefs too. No cheese. Make sure to ask for it dipped.
-Kuma's Corner - on Belmont in Chicago. Heavy Metal themed burger joint. Its fucking amazing. Be prepared to wait awhile to get a table, but it is a pretty cool experience.

-Game Pazzo - I've never been here. I just recently heard about it. its a big video game place and bar. I heard its pretty cool, and it is pretty close to the bunker area in Downers Grove.

- There is also a Dave and Busters in Addison (Swift Rd) and a Gameworks in Schaumburg (Higgins Rd) that offers tons of arcade, and other games and food and drinks
- If you are just planning on going downtown, I recommend getting to Lake Shore Drive. Its a fun drive just to sightsee. and it really spans the entire length of the city... when it splits off to Michigan Ave, take that to check out even more cool stuff. Also check out Navy Pier to walk around and have fun... Bubba Gump Shrimp is there, which is a cool restarant. Near Soldier Field is also the Field Museum, downtown is the Art Institute, and there are also some good comedy clubs like Zanies.... also in the north side you can check out Second City.... I took classes there earlier this year! But you should go for the real performers, not the dirtbags who think they are funny!
Hope that helps... just some ideas off the top of my head
