Small update ....

Will be stepping aside this year in organizing the Sweetbun. Pat will be taking full control of it for this year. With the amount of stuff I have on my plate already it would be insane to try and organize a tournament for the next few months.

Hey Pat, you can definitely put me down for one spot at your place as I'll be there. I'm pretty sure that Mark D'Agostino and Mark Hickling are planning on attending as well and would appreciate a place to crash for the weekend. I'm not sure about whether Glenn will be coming as of yet but will let you know. Thanks for the offer man, see you in June!!

Yeah, count me for a spot for sure. Hickling was pretty sure, but he can confirm for himself.

Ok...so for myself its all good and will be playing this year. With my move being the weekend after the Sweetbun it will be a bit cramped in my place with boxes and stuff, but will be able to put up 4 or 5 with the available floor space. So if any out of towners need a place just let me know and as always...first come first serve (insert my Mum joke).
Now all I need is to know which team to lose with this year....lol

Good to hear Taxal, we all figured you wouldn't be able to host anyone at your place with the move and everything. Probably easier for us to crash at Pat's this time around. Regardless we can figure out who is staying where once we get down there. Don't know how many of the TO crowd you will get this year as the Orion Cup has been started up again and is on the same weekend and that tourney is in TO. Most of your out of towners may be from Ottawa it would seem. Of course i could be wrong.

Yeah was thinking the same thing, hopefully a few make it out though. Especially since its just a one day.
Looks like I might try and paint up a skink/krox team for this year. Of course will depend on what free time I have. Maybe will be able to give Mark a challenge for the stunty shield this year.

Well it looks like i will not be playing my skink/krox combo. Goddamn stripping the paint from old figs for some reason did not work and it destroyed them instead. This is the first time it has happened. So now its either my Fling , Ogre or the new Khemri team I am painting/converting for Pharand.

A 3rd time, a 4th time, a 5th time and so on. You might as well just name it after me, because NO ONE can finish higher than me with a sdtunty team. And as Adam pointed out, no one will even try.

Right now it looks like 5 from Ottawa are planning to make the trip. There is myself, Daggers, the Jones Bros., and Colin, a recent recruit who has been playing in the recently reconstructed Ottawa league.

Hopefully we will see some of the South Ontario boys up. It just wouldn't be the same without them. It might actually be harder to win if they don't show up to place last.

Yeah, but that four minutes doesnt account for setting up for kickoffs and such. It doesnt matter to me, it doesnt take me long to do my turns. Pick-up ball, hand-off to halfling beside treeman, throw halfling with treeman, land and score. Repeat until Leathan is crying like a baby.

Nope... Not unless you do something else this time, like end up in the Nevada desert. But I'm sure that you will redeem yourself this trip and amazing tales will be told of your heroics wiping out your previous blunders. Either that, or your AG 4 'fling will never make a Throw Team-Mate landing roll. That would be awesome!

You know what probably happened, right jrock? What you did was announce the 2011 Deathbowl in imperial measurement rather than metric. And we all know the difficulty Dwarfrunner has with converting numbers such as that.

Now it is only 4 more sleeps until the Golden Sweetmom... I mean the Golden Dan's Mom... Errr... the Golden Sweetbun! Oh, and that measurement of time is in metric.

ROFL.

Unfortunate that it ended up this weekend - I committed to a 40k tournament but the dates weren't set in stone and then they ended up on the same weekend as sweetbun.

If you have the Power of One again in November I should definitely be making that as I'm not doing world cup.
