I have read the rules on easily confused, but seeing as I don't have them now I need a refresher. Under what conditions will Thrud change sides? |

End of each drive, roll a D6. Doesn't matter whether he's knocked out, hurt, whatever. He starts the game on the side of the hiring team. At the end of the drive, a roll of 1-3 by the controlling coach causes him to switch sides.

And if he switches, foul, foul, foul with him. Get him sent off. That'll stop him switching back |

Another interesting tactic with Thrud is to put him right on the sideline on the far side of the field. I have seen a coach froth at the mouth trying to decide whether they should commit the 3-4 players it generally takes to push him off the field reliably, or use the blitz to help slow the cage on the other side of the field. Interesting choice... |

So if I understand correct, if I have the ball and score really quick, I have a 50 chance of Thrud leaving my opponet and joining me? |

Is half time considered the end of a drive, thus requiring the roll. Or does it only count on Scores?
Example. My oppenet has Thrud and scores. I get Thrud. 1/2 ends. Do I now roll to give up Thrud or is he still mine to start the second 1/2 with? |

The drive is over. Make the roll. Praying for high results is optional

Hmm, and I always thought it was required. Explains why I never make the roll . . . |

The rules for Thrud state that you have to make the roll even if he's not on the field.
