If I multiple block 2 players and knock them both down, cna I use mighty blow on both players, or is it just allowed once. If I used it on player 1, I cannot use it on player 2? I am asking this simply due to the skill can only be used once for that players action.

IIRC the multiple block is still only one action, just affecting two people so it can be used on both. I think it has to be the same on both though, like both armour or both injury but I can't remember.
this was discussed over at TBB though, do a search there and it will bring it back. |

I'm 90% sure that it was ruled you can only use it on one player, but damned if I can find it at the moment. |

My interpretation was that because Mighty Blow is a skill you can only use it once per action. I'd say that means only on 1 of your opponents in a Multiple Block although you can choose which one after rolling the armour/injury. |

I'd let it apply to both. The "once per action unless stated otherwise" is there to cover skills like Dodge and Leap. I mean, you'd allow the Multiple Blocker to use Block skill to knock down both opponents, wouldn't you?
I can understand the confusion, but it's not the skill description itself that causes the problem; it's the conjunction of skills.

We only ever had it once (a ST6 Kroxigor who also had PO). We allowed the M.Blow to be used on both, but the PO to only work on one.
We were never certain if this was right or not though. |

Darkson - That's the way I'd play it. Doesn't make it "right," mind you, but if it worked for your league...go for it

Well, I found a few relevant threads on this on TBB involving many of the same people discussing it now.
(Sorry Chet) In this one, Chet says only one player can be piled on.

On this one, Darkson asks pretty much the same question, and gets an answer from Galak on the PO subject:

Perhaps this should be on the Hot List? It is not there currently. |

Okay both Chet and I said the same thing ... Piling On after a Multiple Block and only effect one of the two opponents.
However, this is going to be one of those times when I backtrack and say that I'll agree with Chet on this one that this is just a weird skill intersection that makes sense that it would only effect one and is the type of thing I don't want clogging up the rulebook (unless they add the Q&A section to the back for weird skill interactions like this so that the rulebook doesn't get messed up.)
Piling On is already on the Hot List in the Q&A section ... I'll just add this onto the end of it for an official clarification.

I think the original ruling was made because of the "All skills can be used once per action" text on page 34. I really don't have a preference as to which one is used in the end, as long as it's consistant. |

Yes, because that's a single roll of the dice
The Av/Inj is 2 sets of dice rolls so you only get to use Mighty Blow once. The rules are pretty clear "each skill once per action" by using it on both sets of rolls that looks like 2 usages to me.
Its one of those very rare occurances anyway, and hardly a game breaker either way. In fact I'd be tempted to adopt the strict interpretation because it weakens Big Guys a little bit more (as the most likely Multiple Block/Might Blow players) |

yep, a good example of "roll a dice to settle it then discuss in the pub" |
