Good afternoon,

I saw the post recently about registering a series. Well this is something that we already had in mind for 2024 and were just wondering if we could register for this?

Below I will paste the series overview that is publicly displayed on the first event which is coming up on the 3rd of Jan 2024. Things not covered by this (which are in the individual event pages) are:

Location: Sanctuary Gaming Centre, Ashbrook House, Forest Street, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 1BE, UK

Tickets: Per tournament within the series - £2 per person who is a member of Sanctuary // £7 per person who isn't a member (The £5 differential is the table fee Sanctuary would normally charge for non members).

*** SERIES OVERVIEW ***
The 2024 series will see a slight change in format to the previous version. Before we ran 6 nights of Blood Bowl 7s and each had a fun, silly or painful theme around the number 7 (depending upon your view). This time around we will be mixing up the format of the game rather than having thematic quirks. This is the plan:

Jan 2024 – Blood Bowl 7s
Mar 2024 – Gutter Bowl (Streets)
May 2024 – Dungeon Bowl 7s
Jul 2024 – Blood Bowl 7s
Sep 2024 – Gutter Bowl (Sewers)
Nov 2024 – Dungeon Bowl 7s

Each event will be individual in that it will have its own winner and other minor awards such as most touchdowns as usual which will be in the rulepacks for the individual tournaments. In addition however, we will once more be running a series across all of the events so at the end of it all we will crown a series champion.

For the series there are a number of rules –

• The winner will be the person with the most points from 4 of the 6 events. That must include one of each of the best formats, plus their other highest scoring event
• Coaches cannot use the same team or tier of team twice in the same format. For example: if you play Wood Elf's in the January BB7s, you cannot play Wood Elf's at the July BB7s or another tier 1 team.
• You will not be forced to use a tier 3 team across the series however there is a small twist. The first tie breaker for the overall series will be the tiers of your highest placed teams. Therefore anyone who uses a scoring tier 3 team will beat a fellow coach tied on the same score who wasn't quite as brave and used a tier 1 or 2 team.

There is no obligation to chase points for the series title. If you just want to play Orcs at every event that is totally fine but you won’t maximise your series points and therefore are highly unlikely to win it. Although we would encourage people to bring a different team to every event, we are by no means forcing that.

Pitches will be provided at each event.
• BB7s – we’ll use the same pitches as we used in series one
• Gutter Bowl – we don’t have enough Gutter Bowl pitches. So we will use regular BB pitches but with market stall elements blocked off by card attached to the pitch.
• Dungeon Bowl – Again we are short on pitches we can use. Instead we have a number of printed designs of pitches which we will bring along

**Series Scoring System**
The points listed below are the points you can earn per tournament you attend:

**Placement**
1st = 10
2nd = 9
3rd = 8
4th = 7
5th = 6
6th = 5
7th = 5
8th = 4
9th = 4
10th = 3
11th = 3
12th = 2
13th = 2
14th = 1
15th = 1
Below = 0

(If during one event there is less than 16 coaches, the points will be altered accordingly based on difficulty level. This will be advertised prior if that scenario crops up).

**Bonus points**
- Attendance bonus +1 for attending (Max 6 if all 6 tourny's are attended)
- Organizer bonus +1 per 10 coaches per tournament in the series (if the hoster/s can't play due to drop out etc)

Attendees only need a team, dice, markers and a winning attitude. Even then, we can provide all of that to loan if anyone needs it other than the attitude!

Is there anything else I need to supply in order to do this? Thanks for your help.
