What is King of Kings?
It is a ranking based on the results achieved in tournaments throughout the year.

Which tournaments count for the ranking?
All those who want to voluntarily participate in the King of Kings by sending the classification of the same. As a novelty, this season any tournament will be able to enter the ranking regardless of its participants.

Schedule King of Kings
The qualification starts on the same weekend as the REVA 2024, i.e. the weekend of 27th and 28th January. It lasts until the weekend before REVA 2025. In case REVA 2025 is not held for any reason, the qualification will be closed on 31 January.

During REVA 2025, if there are any prizes and it is acceptable to the organisers, they will be given to the winners or whoever can collect them on their behalf.

General Classification, Stunty and Masters Cup
The King of Kings is divided into four classifications:
-Overall. Represents the overall winner, the best trainer of the year.
-Stunty. Represents the winner of stunty races (goblins, halflings, ogres and snotlings).
-Masters Cup. Represents the top finisher in Masters tournaments.
-Sevens. Represents the top qualifier of the Sevens tournaments.

Masters Tournaments
The Masters tournaments are those that have voluntarily wanted to collaborate with the King of Kings by making some kind of contribution in order to award prizes to the winners of the King of Kings.

Points according to the ranking in a tournament
Each player in a tournament who participates in the King of Kings receives points based on their position in the rankings.

The first placed player receives 15 points, the second 12 points, the third 9 points, the fourth 8 points, the fifth 7 points, the sixth 6 points, the seventh 5 points, the eighth 4 points, the ninth 3 points, the tenth 2 points, the eleventh 1 point and from the twelfth onwards all participants receive 0.5 points.

Afterwards, the points earned will be multiplied by a factor depending on the level of the tournament. The level of the tournament is determined by three factors, the number of rounds, the number of participants and the average NAF ranking of the players. This level can range from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most difficult, and the higher the level, the higher the multiplier.

Candidates and participants
The ranking is divided into two groups, the candidates for the King of Kings and the participants of the ranking.

In order to participate in the general ranking and the masters cup you must have played a minimum of three tournaments with three different races.
In order to participate in the stunty ranking, you must have played a minimum of three tournaments with stunty races, regardless if they are all three tournaments with the same stunty race.

Maximum limit of qualifying tournaments per player
In order to avoid that players who have entered a lot of tournaments get ahead of other players who have entered fewer but have played better, there is a limit on the number of tournaments that can be scored per player.

To account for this, only the best combination of each player's best six tournament days will be counted. This means that the best scoring tournaments will be counted for a total of six days: three two-day tournaments; one two-day tournament and four one-day tournaments; or two two two-day tournaments and two one-day tournaments; or six one-day tournaments.

Tie-breakers
In the event of a tie on points between two players, the tie-breaker will be made in the following order: fewest tournaments played (more points scored in fewer opportunities), maximum points in a tournament (higher ranking in more difficult tournaments), and finally, random.

Prizes
The tournaments that wish to do so can make a contribution to make the prizes of the King of Kings, those tournaments that make a contribution will become Masters tournaments and will enter in the classification of the Masters Cup.

The suggestion is a contribution of 2€, but if you want to donate more, or apart from this symbolic amount you also want to donate miniatures, dice or other things related to Blood Bowl will be welcome. All the money will be used for the manufacturing/printing of the prizes, and all the gifts will be given to the winners of the King of Kings.

Here are the magnificent trophies made by Warping3D and with the special support of Kowalsky for the 2022 edition and which we hope to be able to repeat for this edition.

Standings update
The standings will be available at the link at the top of this post, and we will try to update them at least once a month, trying to update them every two weeks whenever possible, except for the last few weeks when they will not be updated to try to keep the suspense of the winner, if possible.

Questions, queries, feedback
This is a personal, non-profit project. Its only intention is to give some more excitement to the community and make the tournaments a bit more interesting and competitive. Any doubt, question or feedback, please don't hesitate to contact me by private message.

Well, well, we have the first update of the rankings with six tournaments counted: REVA, Interplanar, Lair, Octopus, Tostons and Power Rangers.

We also have a new scoring system, in the rankings you can see the difficulty level of the tournament, calculated by the number of rounds, number of players and average NAF ranking of the players, these last two data also appear in the ranking, so you can get an idea of how difficult it has been to win that tournament.

As for the rankings, there is little to tell, REVA has its best players at the top, although players from Octopus and Tostons are in the middle, Rey de Reyes has started!
